Heh, while not exactly what you might be saying... BTOS 2's Cursed Soul DOES let you steal another player's role while retaining your original alignment which is pretty chaotic but fun from what I've seen.

Idk why your saying judge wasted a court, they managed to deny day 3 communication and got the trickster lynched.
I might be wrong but I think the reason why is because Judge can hijack Tribunal which would have netted them three kills instead of 1.
The play as judge is to wait for tribunal and then call court, hijacking it.
