    Thanks for explaining the second conditional. Even though it's unethical to teach incorrect English, this has helped a lot of people to learn the correct usage.

    Each video is so well thought out, high quality, and the explanations are so clear and simple. There are many repetitions👍. Each video is a masterpiece

    I noticed that native English speakers don't really use the past form of the word 'spit' which is actually 'spat'.. Why won't they use it? They use 'spit' in both present and past tense.. 🤔

    • @englishwithmrd
      @englishwithmrd 3 дня назад +2

      You're more likely to hear 'spat' in British English. I would personally never use 'spit' in the past, but it's acceptable in the US.

      If I'm not wrong:
      I think and understand that;
      - In the USA they use the same form for the present tense, the past tense and the past participle, that's to say;
      Spit = present tense
      Spit = past tense.
      Spit = past participle.
      AND.
      In the UK they use the form "spat" for the past tense and past participle.
      So;
      The conjugations are;
      - Spit = present tense.
      - Spit or Spat = past tense.
      - Spit or Spat = past participle.

      In American English, "spit" is also the past tense of the verb "to spit."

    Hi Kevin,
    What about if I said;
    "To crumble up".
    Does it have any meaning ?.

      Yes. İt is because Americans are too welcoming towards non-native speakers. But if you make so many mistakes ın Russian you will be mocked.

    Lots of native speakers think they're teachers just because they were born in the US. As we see, this is not happening.
