Welcome the Create Mod SMP - Ep1 with Bdubs, Tango, Keralis, and Zedaph! We start this Create mod let's play off by making my Minecraft starter survival base move. The house will be able to roll around the world. This has been a dream to have one of my house wagons move around a Minecraft world and it's amazing! The create mod is an incredible mod that brings so many new and interesting things to Minecraft to build and create together with the others on the server. Idea for the moving house-wagon-train thing: you could have one or multiple stations so that you don’t have to use dirt pillars to get one. The house looks so good!
You could have levers ahead of the station that you pull to stop, or target blocks
@@WhatIsMyPorpoise Or some detection + timer delay redstone circuits. Wait 5 seconds, then move on if the switch isn't flipped. 🙂
I love how the first eps we have so far perfectly encapsulate each of their play styles perfectly. Tango built the drill thing to maximise resource gathering. Zedaph made discovered how science operates in the mod and built a lot of tiny contraptions to test them. Scar has now made a silly but highly impressive build that perfect for shenanigans.
And Bdubs built a house with a windmill specifically to power a cuckoo clock!
A cuckoo clock that goes off exactly when it’s time to sleep.
Me, I'd have maybe been too pretentious.. but Scar, he's the one who just wants to see what's possible, so it was "glue an entire house together just to finally see one move" for him, out of anyone else 😁 really makes me happy.
I'm so happy that Scar was so excited about building with this that he got distracted and took an extra day xD I hope you have lots of fun with this mod Scar!

Oh for sure! All five of theses guys are geniuses when it comes to decorating, building, constructing machines, and farms. I'm so SO thrilled they're all doing a Create series. I will be chomping at the bit every week for all of their episodes to come out.

As a vanilla player, seeing the house just get up and move was a completely surreal experience. Just the way it rotates is hilarious

There's a bigger train system you can use to improve the house even further with bigger tracks and other logic systems to allow stops and stations.
Yeah...HE CAN EVEN PUT JELLY ON IT TO DRIVE IT.

@@theinternetguy33 not really. I mean it's not as early-game as minecart contraptions, but it's not too expensive
Haven't played it yet as the fabric version of the mod is still at 1.18, but from what i saw in the trailer, the bigger train systems are moving even smoother. Trains like that are something i wanted in Minecraft for years.
The main issue with that is that they're not as flexible as Contraptions. (The Minecart style ones) Trains are moreso for making travel routes and supply shipments
Scar, you sound like a child excited for hundreds of new toys in this new series, though that isn't a bad thing. I adore this type of glee from you in this mod. Your excitement is incredible

I'm fairly certain aside from the theme park, Scars greatest Minecraft dream has always been a moving house. It was so nice to see him enjoying finally having that thanks to Create.
Glad you like this mod! This Create mod has so much builder blocks for you to enjoy! Also try replacing the pistons with "linear chassis", it has similar texture on the side as the piston, and is okay on glue to be moved around. And I'm looking forward to when you do experiments on the train, on which you can take control of your moving house!

Scar and Create is an amazing combo I never knew I needed until now.
I was excited back when Tango and Zedaph did their short-lived first season before the season 7 (maybe 8, i dont remember) and to see this return with you, keralis, and bdubs makes me super happy. I can’t wait to see the madness y’all end up creating together!
I do like how Create isn't a tech mod that focusses on automation and efficiency, but it also focusses on how stuff looks. With Mekanism and Thermal, you have just walls of machines that turn 1 ore into 6 but with Create you actually have sprawling factories where you can SEE the factory work.
If you haven't done so already, you must check out their trailers (as well as aeronautics' trailer) because it's just perfection.
I'm so glad this came out, I've been dying for a Create series ever since Tango & Zed's ended.
I know Create content exists, but long-running series with friends playing together is so much better than one-offs.
1:06 To be honest, if my pet was officially part of Minecraft, getthing them would also be my first priority.

Hey Scar! People have probably told you already, but once you get actual trains up and running, you can use Railroad tracks and train controllers to actually control your house movements from inside. You wouldn't have to jump out and hit a lever

If this series continues for long enough and you guys enjoy it enough, when Create Aeronautics comes out you all could do some absolutely insane stuff! There's some other mods that add things to Create that are pretty amazing too!
Oh man, I know that aeronautics isn't slated to come out until next year but I can't imagine the mayhem this troop would create. I would love it.

There are a lot of things in vanilla Minecraft that are also new to me! It's been a while since I've played, but I've recently rediscovered Minecraft youtubers and you have one of the most interesting vibes I've found! Good luck with the new series!
If you'd like to see more of what vanilla minecraft has to offer now, I'd recommend watching Hermitcraft, which Scar also plays! If you wanna get caught up fast on what everyone has been doing the past few months in the series, there is a channel called Hermitcraft Recaps which can explain it all to you.
@@LilChuunosuke Thank you! Getting into such a staggeringly long series is a bit intimidating. I've seen a few of Scar's recent videos on the Hermitcraft server, but having a look at those recaps will be a great way to catch up more efficiently.
@@Artomaton64 oh, i TOTALLY get it. It was so scary getting into Hermitcraft for the first time. Thankfully previous seasons are usually only referenced via jokes or when copying a design theme. If they reference something lore-related, they always re-explain it for newcomers.
You may also want to check out the life series! Third Life, Last Life, and Second Life in that order. Every season is short bc the gimmic is that you have limited lives & it gets more violent the farther in you get. Its a great way to get quickly introduced to a ton of different minecraft youtubers at once since the series requires more interaction

Those were the first few words uttered from my mouth too when I watched Keralis' video before this one and saw the house moving, I'm like Howl's Moving Castle! It'd be super cool if Scar just built onto this like the one in the movie, either intentionally or unintentionally lol

So excited for this series! Scar, as a Create veteran, here's my advice.
Look at the 'Schematicannon' and 'Schematics.' It's one of the best building tools the mod has, and it's cheap.
It makes it really easy to build the same thing a bunch of times. (Like a section of road, or a bunch of Easter Island Heads.) Also, if you want, you can save schematics in a creative world and use them in your survival world to import builds.
This is going to be a fun episode! I know Etho is busy and struggling to get out vids, but I would love to see him join you guys. He started modded and only got a few episodes in before having to stop, so seeing you guys start a modded series makes me think of him. I am super excited to see everything that you guys do. I cant wait to see the builds!

Hey, create semi-veteran here, minecart contraptions don’t like vanilla red stone components very much, hence the wheels staying behind. I would suggest using the flywheel item from create as a replacement. As well, while the minecart assembly is an easy solution, you will not be able to access containers on your moving house, and the trains system allows you to schedule stops to have time to access chests, as well as being less interference from things like pesky sheep.
This mod looks like so much fun! I got "Howl's Moving Castle" vibes from the moving house idea. Also love your skin for this series💜

LOVE THIS. I was laughing way too hard the whole time...Since the house doesn't seem to have collision with the environment, could you lower the tracks one level into the ground so it looks like it's really moving across the terrain?
To confirm. Yes, the contraptions dont have collision except for players and mobs. It is possible to lower the track a few blocks
Yes I’ve done this on a working combine harvester before, had the tracks one block below the farmland.
Yesssss I love the create mod, I'm glad you are doing this, I'm a semi veteran of create, I'm pretty sure that there is a block that can place tracks, so your house could travel, I've seen someone make a tunnel driller before

I'd love to see some non-hermits on this series too. The Steam-punk setting is perfect! (But also, there is a DocM sized hole in the world. this mod was made for him.)

Tips:
-- You should make a wrench! You can break the create mod blocks instantly and go into your inventory. It also rotates or switches directions of the mechanisms. Next make engineer goggles, they will allow you to see things like stress/stress cap, how much liquid a tank has, and how fast the machine is going. Although if you want to see the speed you need a speedometer which can also make a stressometer when placed in the crafting table and vice versa. Great beginning tools for this mod.
-- You can also make andesite thanks to the create mod! But I won't spoil it, its much more fun to find out what kind of stuff you can create with the mod and perhaps some new food items?
8:22 "I have 30 levels, I need to enchant to get a silk touch pick. If you kill I'm gonna destroy you" that's honestly the most threatening I've ever heard Bdubs talk.... but the fact that Scar started chanting "Pull the lever :DD" immediately after he said that had me rolling

You could put the rail underground and make the floor 2 tall, so it would look it's moving on it's own

The create mod has changed the game (pun intended) for the better. Mojang need to seriously consider hiring this modding team. It's wouldn't be the first time they've added a mod into the base game.

CREATE MOD TIPS:
You can use the new create mod train tracks, they allow you to control your ‘train’ when it is traveling and you can also hide the train tracks underground so you can create a more realistic feel of the weel rolling.

You should totally make a train that travels throughout the server with stations and all that stuff. You could even attach that cool whistle to it. And jellie could be the conductor. LOVE the new series btw!
This is so fun. Also, if you use a wrench from create you should be able to look at the cart assembler before you move it and "lock rotation" to keep the house facing the same direction while it's traveling... Only if you desire that effect anyways. ALSO! It'd be super cool to drop the tracks 1 level below the floor so it looks like it's "rolling" on the floor. Great stuff! Can't wait for more

I'm new to the create mod and I LOVE this series so far! There are so many mindblowing possibilities and it's great to see you all having so much fun exploring them together! The steampunk vibes from everyones builds and skins is the icing on the cake :D
I've been watching a lot of vanilla and competitive stuff, it's been a while since I've gotten into something so heavily modded. So this was...an experience, lol. I expected the insane creative builds (it's in the name) but I severely underestimated how funny this would be. Between your house and Tango's drill, I was laughing so hard I was nearly crying. And this is only episode one, I can't imagine what awaits in future episodes.
