Considering they met by her hitting him with a car I can believe that. Like she likely helped him to lessen the chance of him persecuting and just got lucky they hit it off but considering how willing to let someone take the blame for murder with no remorse she definitely doesn't seem like someone who willing to give in. Seems more like someone that only cares about herself, as she didn't seem super distressed about her husband being dead more freaked out that she was going to be blamed for it. Really makes you think.
I noticed how Bok-su's clothes have two pair of colour. Black and white. Black is like a determination to revenge while white indicating a small wish that- if Da-jeong apologize, MC would forgive her. That's why in the early game Bok-su made a conversation with Da-jeong first and asked "So this is where you hiding?". If only Da-jeong make an apologize there, I'm sure Bok-su would've hesitated to take her revenge. Maybe it's not intentional, but eventually I'd love how we can analyze everything in the game.

If Da-jeong actually apologized, and had she not ghost Bok-Su after the incident, then this wouldn’t have happened. If she had just taken accountability for what she did then Bok-Su wouldn’t go out on her revenge plan. Alas, she never did that. She never apologized to Bok-Su. She never reached out to her friend after the incident. Bok-Su just wanted her former friend to apologize for what she did, but she never got that.
Imagine a sequel, where you play ad an unnamed protagonist. You’re on a drive to get home one night, think you hit something and stop. Only to be chased and hunted down by a Yokai wearing a bride’s dress and carrying a long whip made from a skeleton. The whip speaks to you, whispers sharp mockery into your head. After getting injured many times and fighting in vain to stave off the Yokai, you kill it. Or her. Or, so you thought, just as you limp away to your car, a tree lands on it. You turn around to the direction the tree came from. Only to be lassoed by the bone whip. Tortured before being killed, you’re forced to look into the monstrous bride’s eyes. And then you realize: it’s Da-jeong. She gestures to you, Bok-su, that after she was taken by the police, she was assaulted daily by inmates in prison. Eventually, she ended her life. You begin to laugh and the you become serious. Trying to get up, a foot pins you, and Bok-su suffers more torment. The last sounds are her screams and begging for mercy/forgiveness. Ironically, the demonic bride Da-jeong ignores her pleas. The sequel ends on a newspaper article showing a mutilated, unrecognizable corpse , save for her clothes, hanging from a tree. The same way Da-jeong ended her own life. Text afterwards hints at Bok-su stuck in hell, dying and being hunted over and over by Da-jeong and the weapon she’d turned her groom into. Sometimes she kills Da-jeong. But it resets. Bok-su entered this purgatory confident, but after many slaughters by the Yokai bride, she’s lost her nerve. On the edge of brain death from fear, stress, and trauma, the killer now only survives. Fearful of dying again to Da-jeong, whose hate is still unrelenting. No matter how many times Bok-su apologizes and begs, the cycle resets. This sequel story, I think, would perfectly portray the futility of revenge. Because no matter how right you feel, or how wronged you were, you eventually end up in a grave among your victims. You become a link in the chain, forge a new link, that new link kills you, and a new link is formed. An eye for an eye and the world goes blind. Illustrating the Yokai Da-jeong’s blind rage.
