I don’t know if this counts as a reference but Savannah Citadel(Day) has a part where it’s a remix of the credits from the Game Gear version of Sonic 1
An easter egg I believe you missed is the one found in rooftop run act one, where an npc is holding a newspaper and if you get close enough you can see sonic 06 printed on it

Fun fact: Former Sonic voice actors Ryan Drummond and Jason Griffith’s favourite Sonic games are Sonic Adventure and Sonic Unleashed respectively. ^^
