From the factory my Ronin RS4 Pro was trying to completely fold on turn off with my heavy Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K and the roll arm smashed the lower arm. This happened 2-3 times. Only after that I discovered this setting. Do you think my gimbal motors are already damaged because of what happened and should I send it back to DJI? I am really worried now.
Could you do a tutorial on how to balance a camera like the Canon R3 vertically. Have seen people load even heavier cameras, but I can't balance said camera even with the scale maxed out to one side.
So any tips on setting up zoom lenses with the lidar? I have a 18-35mm sigma cine and 50-100mm. What focal length should I choose for each or does it matter? Also looking into hibriht monitor with the had held focus and grips, can you have both hooked up at same time to get FIZ control from handheld and gyro from grips?
I was never able to use the raveneye with my fx3 on the RS2 and I'm not the only one experiencing issues with sony cameras and the raveneye. I'm getting the RS4 Pro: will the raveneye work now ? Thanks!

Okay, so quick question, when you were talking about customizing the "M" Button, you told us that you have it set to the Lidar AF/MF, and then you switched to the "Video Input" screen on the Gimbal, i was just wondering if you NEED the Lidar system to be able to use that "Video Input" on the Gimbal screen?
Define "prominent click" - I can hear mine very firmly click into place. Like audibly and then it does not move anymore - if yours feels mushy or off, I'd send it back the DJI

Everything is connected. Rs4 pro, blackmagic 6k pro dji transmission connets with blackmagic via HDMI . DJI Cable Hub connects on the motor, transmission, lidar, hdmi. There is live feed on the DJi monitor and joystick control. On the Focus motor and Lidar I only get the red light, also I cant start/stop recording from the monitor...I got a few video with the hole setup, shoud i find you on instagram?

Keith - I just upgraded to the RS4 Pro so that I could run the vertical setup on my stabilized car gimbal mount. However, the transmission system does not fit on the gimbal when setup for vertical shooting. Any thoughts or tips there? Thanks!
The transmission is mounted with a coldshoe to the bottom of the RS4 Pro, you could use your cameras hot shoe or camera cage cold shoe for the transmission instead of the RS4's mount
I have a question, in regards to the battery life, I've used it very little right now, I just purchased it, however I do feel the battery percentage goes down fast, to the point where I can't believe this battery can last 13 hours, is it just me or is this something that has happened to others?
This depends on a few different things, how many accessories you have attached to the gimbal, how heavy the camera is, how well balanced, etc. The larger battery does last longer, especially when the lidar, focus motors, etc are powered by the gimbal
DJI Ronin is becoming more like a weaponized exoskeleton camera gimbal for videography. Becoming more power packed. Sadly, too many peope buy them for experience then kept the ageing one in the closets to buy the new one but seldom use them because new ones keep on coming.
Gimbal and (expensive) self defense tool! Gimbals are not for everyone -if you only need to use them once or twice per year, you may be better off renting one
Would love a video explaining how to set up the rs4 pro with your FX6 - like controlling record and focus from the gimbal. And general best practices with the fx6 for people who are new to gimbals!

I used the Tilta extension handles - have a handheld rig video coming up with the DJI monitor on the camera using the extension handles. Will shoot that when I come back from NAB in a week or so 👍

there’s some way just to lock the touch screen? in the Rs2 i just click one time in power button and the screen is locked

I don't know any pro focus pullers using DJI transmission. The latency just isn't there.
