@@badreddinekasmi8919 Yeah idk why he called it "A little bit" more burst resistance that's a bit of an understatement, it's more like partial burst immunity, ratchets are supposed to turn when your Beyblade receives/gives an impact and contrary to popular belief most of that is your own Beyblade's recoil and not your opponent hitting the ratchet, having it spin this way pretty much removes your own recoil as a burst chance causing only direct impacts to the ratchet to cause bursting which... your ratchet might sooner break than burst, not even getting into the unintended gameplay advantage I can see this ENTIRELY not being tournament legal for the reasons of increased risk of breakage given any hits that would usually cause it to burst is instead causing it to strain against the plastic, just as metal sharp is generally banned for it's likelihood to damage the stadium.

Because of this oversight, Hells Hammer is now the only X bey that can completely avoid spin equalizing with Cobalt Dragoon. Kinda ironic that the Hells beys aren't selling well because of Bird but it ended up being the bey with the greatest secret.
I feel like this is a secret feature Multi just didn’t explain, cause a hammer does have two sides to it(the blunt and sharp end), giving Bird more versatility/a secret weapon against the people at the top of the tower! I've been hypothesizing that Hammer would be better in left spin since before Left Spin/Cobalt Dragoon came out. It's gimmick is supposed to be "smash" attacks, and with 70 or 80 height ratchets you can see how in left spin, hammer is basically shaped like Shark Edge, but pushing downwards instead of uppercuting. I left comments about this on several Beytuber videos, but was ignored lol. It may have been an error, but I believe left spin has always complemented Hammer's design far better.
I have this head canon where since Multi is not only a Pro Blader, but also a licensed BeyCrafer. She might be thinking that Anything CAN happen in a Competition/Professional Blading scene, and a blader with a Left spin will DEFINITELY happen as seen with Chrome making Dragoon. As a Precautionary measure against this fact, multi purposefully and secretly made HellsHammer a Dual Spin bey to counteract the Eventual Left Spin bey the Team Persona would face.

Hammer has been my favorite bey so far, so I'm really pleased to see that it has a secret (intentional or not) feature. I think it already has some pretty good builds to it and is underestimated a bit, but I'll defo test it as left spin ! Better burst resistance wouldn't make it OP, just a good new option imo.

The ratchet doesn't determine the spin direction, the blade does. If they design a blade that can fit ratchets in both directions, it's entirely possible.

ehhh, that sort of logic doesnt really work. During Burst there was a ton of easy mods you can do but sandwiching parts, even though that was in the game, it was still banned. This bey is intended to be right spin by parts and design, so thats what is going to be enforced.

Question: how would a dual spin bey work in X? With burst, you had to turn the teeth in the layer so that the driver clicked the opposite direction. Would there be a stopper in the blade?
@nuc the problem is that HellsHammer shows that it'd have to be more complicated than Burst. In Metal Fight, Dual Spin beys had not stoppers in the ring & wheel to allow it to fit on both launcher directions. Burst had the teeth turn to the disc and driver clicked in the appropriate direction and the part that connected to the launcher prongs were correct. Cows to X, and it's like Metal Saga where the blade is the only part touching the launcher, and the ratchet controls bursting. Of course, there won't be stoppers for the prongs. Would there be a mechanism so that when you attach the ratchet, stoppers pop out?

Banning it would be stupid! And it would take away versatility from a beyblade that wasn't doing to well to begin with.
Plus it means they will probably fly off shelves now with people running out to try this new set up in battle.

ehhh, that sort of logic doesnt really work. During Burst there was a ton of easy mods you can do but sandwiching parts, even though that was in the game, it was still banned. This bey is intended to be right spin by parts and design, so thats what is going to be enforced.
Also… I think wizard rod and dran buster and the other UX beys can do this! 😅(no idea if this is correct)

@@jacobmccown7714 the best place for keeping up with BEYBLADE news is through RUclips. RUclips videos and whatnot. I typically have news videos out the same day. Otherwise there’s the WBO, and BEYBLADE WIKI. Takara Tory also pushes out news on their BEYBLADE X Twitter.
The hells beys have a symmetrical shape so they could probably be left spin

With burst, you had to turn the teeth in the layer so that the driver clicked the opposite direction.
Would there be a stopper in the blade?
Good question... I feel like it'd be more simple than Burst but I'm not sure.
@nuc the problem is that HellsHammer shows that it'd have to be more complicated than Burst.
In Metal Fight, Dual Spin beys had not stoppers in the ring & wheel to allow it to fit on both launcher directions.
Burst had the teeth turn to the disc and driver clicked in the appropriate direction and the part that connected to the launcher prongs were correct.
Cows to X, and it's like Metal Saga where the blade is the only part touching the launcher, and the ratchet controls bursting. Of course, there won't be stoppers for the prongs. Would there be a mechanism so that when you attach the ratchet, stoppers pop out?
