You and me both it’s always good to come back to the classics. I saw these guys in concert in the 70s.
Paul Rodgers...That voice...Just amazing combination of smoothness, power, soul, and range.
Yes! One of my all-time favorite singers. Paul is fantastic.
Great singer Paul is...Almost as amazing as Coverdale.

Obviously everyone here!
My karaoke go to!
I was listening to this song last night on Sirius coming back to Reno from Tahoe for Thanksgiving. Belting it out all the way. It was great🙂👍
Listening to Bad Company on Sirius XM, Classic Vinyl.
All the freaking time.
Music doesn’t get better than this!!! The seventies was a golden era of music, and Bad Company were definitely one of the supergroups of the time, with incredible vocalist and front man Paul Rodgers.
I feel this completely I can’t choose who I like better bad company or Boston
They Better be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
@Ben Kowalski Both were great got to see Boston in concert but never got to see Bad Co. in concert

You should listen to the 8:00+ live version!
I was born in 79, way too late to be of this era, but listening more and more to Bad Co the last few years, this is a seriously good band.
Vincent Castrillo keep listening. feel good lay back uplifting music. the world stop's when Bad Company start's.
good person..we never forgot in our teens and went backwards because something was not right with the sound these days.. bands is music. Kept all my vinyl records till the day I die.
I'm 9 years older and was around as these songs were ground into the dirt on FM radio. It took a while for me to be able to listen to them and judge them on their own merits, There's a reason why they call it "classic rock". The classics don't die!
Me too😊
He was in a shitload of bands..
Remember this one....?

Damn that song is still as sexy as it was the first time heard it! Paul Rogers is a vocal God.
Walkin' down this rocky road
Wondering where my life is leadin'
Rollin' on to the bitter end
Finding out along the way
What it takes to keep love living
You should know how it feels, my friend
Ooh, I want you to stay
Ooh, I want you today
I'm ready for love
Oh baby, I'm ready for love
Ready for love
Oh baby, I'm ready for love
Now I'm on my feet again
Better things are bound to happen
All my dues surely must be paid
Many miles and many tears
Times were hard but now they're changing
You should know that I'm not afraid
Ooh, I want you to stay
Ooh, I want you today
I'm ready for love
Oh baby, I'm ready for love
I'm ready for love
Oh baby, I'm ready for love
Oh, for your love
got yo back mates

Still walking. .......
Grand Poobah of Penis hell to the yeah , woo hoo , bad Company rules
ok Thank you !
The nice good thing into Supernatural is that attracted focus on classic bands to the young ones, well done Winchester bros, great ost!
Absolutely!!!
i made a playlist on Spotify called The Winchester Soundtrack
Anthony L well done Anthony is a great soundtrack!
Will be checking that out on the drive home today. Thanks for sharing.
i forgot to mention, i named the playlist The Winchester Soundtrack because it is all the songs from every episode, well, not all, basically the ones i like, which is all the classic rock songs, so far i have songs from season 1-10, haven't gotten around to watching season 11 yet.
i love the piano solo in this song, its not difficult to play, its not complicated, its just so good and has such a beautiful melody. really a peak time for music this was 🥰
Yeah....Love the piano work on this song
Played on a REAL piano!
Agreed. Led Zeppelin's No Quarter, a little more than 3 minutes in, has a very simple keyboard solo. Not sure why but I always wait for it.
@@bennyboy6367 i checked it out, it’s pretty chill good solo. Nice song as well
Yes!!❤
Locked in my room at age 14 playing my drums in the 70's to the guys They are The BADEST COMPANY THAT ONE COULD KEEP ! AWESOME.
Great music can't be dated, never gets old, and is always relevant
a forgotten classic ... radio stations forgot this one ... but I didn't !!! ... thanks for posting !!!
I still do.
you got that right all the way Robert.
Alabama.
My radio station didn't forget this one.
My classic rock station still plays this regularly, though they do play Rock and Roll Fantasy way more.
It plays on this classic radio station around here. I always seem to hear it when its most relateable to me.
BAD CO....the best. Rockblues band all time.....forever..
The 70's what a time so many great concerts & times, I feel so fortunate to have lived in such a awesome decade, with music like this and so many more outstanding bands... ROCK ON...

Ananta Kshatriya Everybody!
Wow
45 years and some and it still sounds like the first time I heard it. What an amazing band. Got turned on to Paul Rogers when he released the first album by Free! That album is a classic
My favorite song of all time!! When I first heard this song the words just got me! I'm still hoping all my dues surely must be paid! To me one of the greatest underrated Bands of all time!❤️
I'm proud to say this was my first Bad Company album I ever listened to as a kid, on cassette tape!
Mine 2
So you learned how to rewind- The Tape with a Pencil ✏️ 😊❤
Great song. But it is sad that people can only find these songs because they hear them on TV. We need more Classic Rock radio stations! #oldpersonwhostilllistenstotheradio
I agree! #oldsoulradio
Paula Adams come to st Louis, we got 3 classic rock stations
I hear it my stores I visit for the company I work for. Some stores play 60's and 70's rock, some 80's or 90's, some pop... I prefer the 60's and 70's stores, gets me going! I still have the album that I spin now and then.
Sirius xm has channel 27 (classic vinyl)
Lobo
The song may be about sex, but it is dealt with in an intelligent and tasteful manner.
Yep
Agreed.
Today they sing...." me so horny", " my anaconda" etc.
"back up dat ass!'
Thought it always meant love in general.
this was playing when my husband asked me to marry him and it first verse is inscribed on his tombstone
That's beautiful, sorry for your loss sister
Much love to you both. Sorry for your loss
I am so sorry for your loss. Sounds like an amazing relationship..
Dam I wish I had a husband :(
So beautiful...my apologies..
Absolutely awesome. Paul Rogers one of the greatest rock voices of all time
It's incredible what music can do. This is so powerful in reminding me of driving down dusty roads in Ukraine with my Dad and blasting this song before I left for college...Gah great song and piano solo....
❤️❤️❤️
Paul Rogers and Bad Company, It just don't get much better than that.
couldnt get betyer
Onr of the better oldies
Adrian Miller bad mfkrs
Only with Paul Rogers and Free
This is real music kids. Paul Rodgers is one of the best singers period.
JOEL
I'm 29.
My dad showed me what real music is when I was a wee lad.
I've never looked back.
And that's a fact
Rod Stewart said he had the best voice in the business
What does fake music sound like ?
A song that introduced me to Bad Co, and the importance of having an 8 track player in your car, four channels of tracks that could be switched live at any time, genius.
I spent my teenage years in the 1970's. Bands like this made it the best time of my life. To me, 70's music is the best. I miss those days. It was a much better time to be a kid.
This guy is a totally natural singer, one of the best rock singers of all time. Expressive and he gets a lot of feeling in to his vocals
What a underrated great song Bad Company doesn't get its Deus they're one of the best rock and roll bands ever
firstist is the bestisist
What a great F'n vocalist. Soulful and smooth. Gritty, only where the song needs it.
A great cruising song late at night on the road. CD
So true
Fuck CD cassette lol
@@stumorton9352 LOL
C. Dillabough you have the right idea, cruising with Bad Company, speaker on loud, nothing more to ask for
@@michaelabbet8920 Yeah, now an old bald dude driving his Mustang.......where the hell did the years go? And the speakers are now cranked just so I can hear the music............get some weird looks.......not sure if that is because of the old dude with the tunes cranked or the youngins cannot recognize the music?
The first time I actually heard this song ....Was on an episode of Supernatural...Good song!
I love this song..Paul Rodgers has a voice which is timeless..🔥🤘
The first verse of this song is pure bliss. Perfection.
if you heard this song from a show, that's fine, happy to see music like this caught your attention, but please don't just stop with this song, listen to all their songs, you'll be happy you did cause this band is unbelievably awesome!
I love this song with all my heart, and it only got better when I remembered it was in supernatural!
It's 2023 and I still listen to it, it's a great song 🎵 😊
Bad company is the best rock ‘n’ roll band
Definitely in my top 10 favorite classic rock albums .. never get tired of listening to it .. albums like this keep you 16 forever !
Mystic and romantic as ever could be, pure true poetry 😍
LISTENING TO IT IN 2022. LOVE ME SOME CKASSIC 80S😍. I'm only 32. Can't help loving the REAL music of our lifetime
Great song and great lyric.....Bad Company!!!!!! This band rocked me in my early days and still does.... saw them live in 1979/80 . Loved it then and would love them now.
U like dick or nah let me no baby I got it all
One of Dean Winchester's sex songs :P
Because having sex with an angel requires a celestial song, my dear.
Getting sick of seeing that guys name on every rock song i search up. Who is the bloke anyway?
Roberto Salgado He wasn't having sex with Cas.. it was some chick.
***** Jelly much? lol.. clearly you don't watch Supernatural then? He's a Bad-ass
As long as he is showing people some good songs it's okay i guess.
The first time I listened to this song was in 1976 in Malaysia. At that time, I was 14 years old. Besides "Rock Steady", I like to listen to "Ready for Love", among the top killer songs by Bad Company. These songs are very nostalgic for me.
This is true music, the sad part is this generation only knows of this song b/c of Supernatural. I grew up to this music, best God damned music EVER!!!!!
Correction, and grown ups too ;)
It may be through a show but it’s good to know that they are being introduced to some good music.
I'm 29 and grew up with music like this. Never seen Supernatural, though.
Don't assume shit.
@@-Zer0Dark-, SUPERNATURAL is one of the best TV shows I've ever seen! Great music too!
@@-Zer0Dark- You either. We aren't "this generation" anymore. You are getting older bud. I'm 32 and haven't been considered "this generation" for a bit now lol.

Every time I listen to this song, dean and anna being together in the depths of my mind. oh of course in impala...
i can never hear this song the same....
The first line in this song just hits something inside of you. I was a junior in HS when this album came out. Bad Co. became very popular quickly. Couple of years later they made a stop in Nashville. Yeah, they rocked out...
…and you’re a YES fan, as well…
@@kewlbreez77 Love my Yes...
one of my mom's favorite bands ever. She and her cousin Lynn saw them back in the 70s. Must have been a mind blowing show. Damn....lucky Ma. But she is a princess and does not know it. Bless her and thank you for keeping this alive.
one of the best bands ever
Tingalig hi pangita ko da
1975, bought this album! I was 20, and it was edgy, well beyond the AM Radio, it was deep F. M. Radio, strictly speaking!
A time when music was real and pure nothing compares today to classic rock bands such as bad company rogers is a extremely talented vocalist . Whole band is amazing and they put out some great classics that are timeless including this one
ought to be in the rock hall of fame. it's their longevity that will keep them out.
This one takes me back to the early seventies. Weekends were filled with Bad Company, joints, booze & boys. Best times with one of my all time fave bands.
This song has always been one of my favorites! Something about the instrumental part towards the ending is bad ass! Hell of a song!
2020? 2022 baby! FOREVER!! Music transcends time. ALWAYS. 😘
One of the greatest songs from that era.
Danke Supernatural, für die Inspiration den Musik Geschmack Horizont zu erweitern, ich liebe den Song 😍😏
2023 and still walking down that road.
The memories! Cruzin the back road ( stoned if I remember correctly) listening to This masterpiece and James Gang- Bang. 👌 '74 I don't remember most of it but I will never forget it.
Still listening.. 2023...never gets old.. 😊
Nor will it my friend! Ever!!!
It’s timeless
Still brings me right to Dean and Julie McNiven (forget her angel name) making sweet sweet love in the back of Dean’s ‘67 Impala
Supernatural fans will get it 🤘💜
Yes, Yes we do!!!!!
Absolutely man then she gets her powers back then case takes her strait to heavans cage
Was I into this band when I was a kid..Mick Ralphs recorded tone is like nothing else....great old school blues/rock very, very well played and beautifully recorded..lots of space, brilliant.
Well Said, and you can thank him for the keys on this song as well.
My favorite by them...although most are good....just reminds me of good times way back then...🥰
Im Ready for love
Dean and Sammy Winchester 😘
Oh baby I'm ready for love
Despite what you may think, someone can love the band and the show. Regardless if one brought someone to the other. I love both.
Paul.......What a great voice !!!!!!
I grew up listening to many songs like this. At different stages of my life it means something different. This year it is a reinforcement of loving myself fully.
Man, I love that. So deep.
My "Uncle Abe" was on the last tour with them as the Bassist :)
Nicole Beaudry thats pretty cool. They come to Syracuse a lot. Their music certainly holds up throughout the years. Kudos!
Awesome
He must have some stories ... What an amazing band he was so lucky to be with bad company. What an honor for him
Amazing. What year was that
This song takes me away to a time where my life was without responsibility and care free. It also reminds me of my Pops. He was and is sooo cool. My Pops has soul. He taught me about music. Not just one type, but about music. All types.
Most harmonic beautiful soulful piano solo EVER
You may thank the lovely Mick Ralphs for that (although he did originally write the part for guitar)
One of the greatest voices in rock history. Period.
Still One of those tunes that lives deep within my soul ☺️🦋✌🏼🌼
First dance song on my wedding day!!! 08-22-2015 ♡
OMG congratulations!!!! Best of luck! Xoxoxo

Its called a bridge, there are some songs I listen to for the bridge alone
One of my favs. Bad Company is my favorite! No other voice like Paul Rodgers ❤ 2020
I am so ready for love! 💜
When I was growing up, one of my older siblings had a custom tape of music from Boston, Pink Floyd, and Bad Company (including this song), with a few outliers from other bands used for filler. Listening to this, I'm going back in time to 1991, just resting on my bed in the dark with this song playing as background noise.
Feels like too long ago.
one word ... badass
The Edge of Never
Brings back good memories. Nothing like 70s music. Sigh.
my mom introduce me to this and I'm forever grateful
My fav Band. glad you like them also.
Right up there with the best bands-LOVE IT
This was one of my first albums. Everytime I hear it I get swept back to living at the ocean as a boy.
That has to be one of their coolest song's ever !!! I Love Bad Company, All time favorite!!!!! Keep making Amazing music.
