I think you are the only one to explain there are three stages to pinto beans. Early eat as green beans, next cook as fresh beans and then store as dry beans for later. Self sufficiency is why we do it and because WE CAN. TFS

Great job on your challenge from Ernie! She thought she had you! Fantastic harvest at the end. You are right about growing your own and the peaceful enjoyment of just doing that!

Long one John but letting her roll. MIght even chrome cast it. What the heck. Have you ever thought of doing these as premiere-live chat?
Super red is back! Good looking peppers. Interesting Brazilian corn. I've never seen one. Thanks. Pepperonchini looking good. And yes, that time of year ain't it? Is there time left for more to hit? Facing that now with just about everything. Solid stand of peppers there John.
Why so many variety of tomatoes John? What do you do with all that produce? Mix and can? Separate and can?
Good point on the "free beans" and nitrogen effect. Bingo. And buddy that was a helluva haul! Killing it. Hope you are feeling better. 👍

New sub here Names Bobby. I took pintos that have been in the freezer for almost 2 years and just threw them in the yard and got almost 50 plants. But winter here in west central Arkansas is harsh they will die so I will do this again this spring.

I wanted to know something about pinto deans,I typed it in , your video came up, all though a good video, there was one thing about it. (Do not think me being mean,) Sir it's about you talking about the trucks, if not for those big, noisy trucks we would have nothing, gasoline, clothes, some (my case food). You are
lucky, you are still a young one and can grow some food, some of us are old and can't, so your video was fine, could hear you and everything. Give praise to our truckers. (No I know no trucker). Times are hard, Bless you for growing a garden and from what I saw a very nice one!

I was wondering the same thing & tried it myself in 2021! Could not find enough seeds at the store, especially in MICH where the governor whitmer forced gardening shutdown Spring 2020 with no warning. These dried beans germinated better than the expensive seeds!
