  • European Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič spoke to Commission following a six-hour meeting in Brussels today between Mr Šefčovič, Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, UK Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron, and Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares.

    This is the unelected EU Commissioner who "looked after" the NI Protocol for the EU and to whose unelected boss, Von der Leyen, PM Sunak caved in, effectively partitioning the UK.
    Here, Mr. Šefčovič refers to an EU/UK agreement, i.e. one agreed by himself Foreign Secretary, Lord Cameron. Hopefully, Mr. Picardo will have impressed upon the UK Foreign Secretary the need to reach a deal to which he is certain the people of Gibraltar will agree.

      How so? Sounded like he said everyone's legal standing will be protected whilst getting all the things needed for a functioning relationship.
