I mean, in greek mythology, Hades was one of the most decent of the gods, he is very loyal to his wife and never cheated, he had a nymph lover named Minth before being with Kore (persephone) but in mythology Kore killed Minth
Hades is way too misunderstood. In fact, it was NEVER stated that hades was the villain in Greek mythology, but since he’s yknow, the god of the underworld and such, the world decided to paint him evil 😔

It could be that they are trying to make a mix of their book and tv appearance as the books are the source material and they might have made these characters before the show came out and just haven’t finished editing their appearance yet like it looks like Annabeth and clarisse have blonde roots
