I absolutely LOVE how he keeps slipping up, especially with the voice acting! it's almost meta with how Percy also has dyslexia. it's just so... real and easy to get into listening with this human touch

This sounds EXACTLY like what I imagined Percy sounding like. And while this may not be a perfect, professionally edited audiobook, I actually can genuinely say it's my favorite reading I've ever come across. All the little mistakes, stutters, retries and the sound of the pages turning made me smile just as much as the fun individual voices for each character did. The mistakes made it real, made it feel like I was listening to someone reading directly to me in a way that felt very personal. By the end of it I found myself caring a lot for the narrator just as much as I cared for the story and the characters he's portraying. All in all, I loved this and look forward to listening to the rest of the series.

I used to listen mostly to people reading reddit online while I completed other tasks. Lately, I've learned that listening to someone read a book is way more relaxing and enjoyable, and better for my mental health. Thank you for this! You read well and have a good voice that's easy to listen to.
The narrator's voice suits the book so well! I wish it were a little more edited so there were a few less mistakes in here, but overall really well done.
