there isn’t mould on the bottom of the hot cross bun, it’s very likely flour from when they get dusted after making :)

Bread has ‘best before’ dates which is just a recommendation. They wouldn’t grow mould on their best before date unless the pack had been open for a while! They would’ve been completely safe, also normally would cut in half and put them in the toaster! :)

Iv bought and happily eaten all sorts of reduced almost out of date foods. Taste the same to me. Many foods are absolutely fine for a week or so past their sell by/use by date and some things can be fine for months past their best before. I look at foods individually. I smell foods. To see if they are ok. I & my family have used cream (vegan kinds as well as dairy kinds as i have a dairy allergy) days to a week past it’s date many times. Many foods are perfectly fine to eat after their use by/sell by date. Supermarkets just have to put dates on foods so they know when foods was put out and to prevent them getting sued if someone does get ill (they can say it had a date).
She’s just rlly use to buying fresh and “rich” foods unlike a lot of us bc she can afford it she’s raised having a lot of money
@@myapearl786 I buy decent foods. I buy foods from M&S, I buy food from tesco finest. Doesn’t stop me eating leftovers or eating food after the expiry date if it’s still ok. Why waste food even if you have money. It comes down to mindset rather than money. Iv know. People who don’t have much money who have thrown away food day after it’s expiration date even though it is perfectly fine but they just assume that food needs to be eaten by a specific date from day it’s made, Iv also seem people with a LOT of money who don’t waste any food.
Hot cross buns are supposed to be cut 🤣 and with bread/bakery products, they're usually a best before. Those hot cross buns have a flour bottom! ❤️

In case someone is confused: if a food is on it's last day, that basically just means the company promises, that the food will not have any shortcomings (flavor wise, texture wise,...) by then. Afterwards they can't guarantee this. It does not mean, that the food will be bad after that day. It just means it's not 100% quality wise anymore. (not "toxic from date") ❤

Hi, I'm pretty sure the app Charley was talking about is too good to go. I use it a lot and you can get bags of random food for really cheap like 3 or 4 pounds and they are worth like 10 pounds. I recommend to anyon who wants to try it. Also love your videos mia

IV eaten food that's been way past there date blaming my dad and if they go out today or yesterday your fine unless it's green and fluffy then bin. Im on benefits and I get paid every two weeks and I get bread and it last until next payday but like I said food that gose of today and yesterday your fine.

Most hot cross buns have white stuff on the bottom because it’s flour. Bottled water actually does have a best before date it has something to will the bottle it comes in

You really need to wash your fruits and vegetables. Even if it’s says it’s been washed.
That’s four on the bottom of the bread. A little mold will not hurt you. We have all eaten bread without noticing it has a little mold on it.
Don’t be afraid to make a sandwich in a park. We use to have picnics in the park growing up and on long car rides.
You and your family could get salmonella, E. coli, and listeria.

my mum tends to buy reduced foods when they’re there. we’re by definition ‘skint’ so if there’s some strawberries that are reduced she’ll buy them for me. but she won’t buy things like bread that are reduced because we won’t eat it in time.
i started watching your videos literally today after I saw a short of you pranking your mum with those hoop earrings and I saw you ordered from whole foods in a video and after getting a sighting of your house and the style it’s built in and all your hauls and the fact that you’re an artist I could tell you/your family were well-off or above the skint/working class line. so when I clicked on this video of yours I was curious about what I’d watch.
as I’ve watched I can see you’re not used to eating reduced foods, especially from the fact that you were worried because you had never seen flour on the bottom of your bread before after buying it.
reduced foods are absolutely fine to eat, because if they weren’t, shops wouldn’t sell them. I read a comment on here saying that they go off of food by smells and looks. that’s the most relatable and true statement about food I’ve seen on this app.
do you see any green or blue mold and do you smell funny smells? because if no to both, it is completely fine.
I know most people who are wealthy or have more money than others prefer buying fresh produce and that’s fair enough but if you can still eat food and be healthy no matter what it is perfectly fine.

Hot cross buns... you cut them in half and put butter on them just for future ref 😊 It's flour on the bottom as well.. well done for doing this. There is so much food waste in this country which is shocking in a country in such a bad state with people not even being able yo afford food. The co-op down the road to me, throws away cages of food each night as their guidelines state they can't sell it even though its perfectly good food still... Some supermarkets are even taking off best before dates which is a positive 😊
