  • In this video we go through the workflow of placing a purchase order so new inventory can be checked into your warehouse. Here we are using SKUSavvy to manage a connection with Shopify, vendors, products, and the purchase. All inventory checked in through a purchase order will become available in your warehouse and on your Shopify store.
The general process for setting up and creating a purchase order is as follows:
    - Align vendors and products/cost
    - Select a warehouse to receive the order
    - Place PO, optionally send PO to vendor
    - Check-in PO, count quantities, allocate to bin locations
You can also have SKUSavvy automatically determine a quantity to purchase depending on your min/max par values. This value is determined by looking at these par values with current stock, committed stock, incoming stock, sell-through rate, and lead time of the vendors past purchases.

My vendors are usually not the same as the "vendor" in shopify since the one in Shopify actually refers to manufacturer or brand. Is there no way of batch adding items to a vendor? Manually adding 1000 items to the proper vendor would take forever. Plus the list with vendors are populated with all the brands I have in my store.

And why do I need to add a price? And where do I change it from USD?
