I genuinely think AG is gonna do things out of the ordinary in this next Vikings game. Vikings are gonna study the tapes but AG is probably gonna call things he usually doesn’t call + confuse them. They know what’s on the line + they know how much they need the Bye for their injured players. We could all end up pleasantly surprised with how well the defense does on Sunday + it’ll shut everyone up doubting them lol

Just to put this defense into perspective, I consider myself a pretty dedicated lions fan, I dont know multiple people in our defense who are now starters or rotational players. So every given play I dont know about 3-6 players on our defense, we are so unbelievably thin at some positions it baffles me we can even function. For example, our linebackers have been reduced to basically only jack campbell (a second year player) and maybe jaylen reeves maybin (our special teams captian, which is the only reason i know him), other than those 2 its players like ben niemann and nowaske who were at best semi-rotational but most likely 3rd string players before the past few weeks. Now those players are practically starters. We have probably around 12-15 players injured on defense currently and many of them our star players like hutch, carlton davis, Alim mcneil, anzalone, rodrigo, davenport, and countless rotational and 2nd string players. We literally have multiple people who were on practice squads a few weeks ago coming in frequently on plays. Aaron glenn is really the only thing holding this defense together and proven that he is one of, if not, the best defensive coordinator right now. Also... Tape DONT Lie

There is no D in the league that practices against trick play more than the lions. Every team tries them against the lions because we run so many, but who do you think our offense is running those against in practice!?!
