Most things credited to Real Bout could also be credited to Fatal Fury 3. Since Real Bout 1 basically reused a ton of assets from Fatal Fury 3 (especially animations) Back Spin Kick: Forward D in FF3. Back Knuckle: A+B in FF3 while the opponent is in the top layer. Passing Sway: Real Bout can keep this one. Passing Sway did indeed debut there. Though the main kick is just Back Spin Kick again. Hidden Geyser: ...kinda? It's the closest to it on paper but even looking at it you can tell that some of the energy has some crookedness to it. I think it might be a mix of 2 and 3, though it's tough to call. (mad props for acknowledging Triple Geyser in FF3)
Terry's move of smashing the floor to fly in midair from his CA maybe is a nod to Kid Goku's final attack to Demon King Piccolo Also, Terry's "Here's the Big One" quote is from his SDM 'Buster Wolf' version from KOF XIV, maybe that quote is inspired by Iron Man's same quote from MvC3 in his 'Angled Proton Cannon' Hyper Combo
This is easily the most thorough comparison I've seen so far!! Awesome job! Would you consider doing comparisons between Lily and T. Hawk and Kimberly and Guy for SF6? I have still yet to see anyone do one that directly compares all their similar moves properly
SNK often references it in their games and Capcom was right to use references in each of Terry's appearances in Street Fighter 6. References range from the intros of Street Fighter 2 and Fatal Fury 1 to cameos from Andy, Joe and Mary.
The Power Wave LP looks like based at the Fatal Fury 2 version dude, maybe you messed up there buddy. What about a video about the few Terry´s moves that Capcom didn´t included ? I recall the POWER STREAM from Kof 2003, The HEAT UP GEYSER from Wild Ambition, the RISING FORCE from kof 2002, the TRINITY GEYSER from Kof XIII, the HIGH ANGLE GEYSER from Kof 97, the STAR DUNK VOLCANO from Kof XIV, the STAR DUNK IGNITIOn from Kof XV and the RISING BEAT from Maximum Impact 2

Love the fact the Capcom devs are SNK fans and former employees, too. And the amount of love and reverence to ONE SINGLE CHARACTER is just amazing.

Good point!

Thank you very much! it's on "to do list".
@@AshtheOne Awesome!!! Can't wait to see them! 😄
Fire Kick also was a command move in Wild Ambition
But only was a juggling high kick in that game
yes.

Thanks. This video you show to people that Fatal Fury Is a fantastic series. Not only one game.
Indeed. Thank you for the comment

back knukcle is from kof 95
Actually the first real bout and KOF 95 are from the same year, so both could be correct
@@skapkof7313 video says it's from KOF97, not RB.
@@DemonPE that's wrong, that attack is from KOF 95/first Real bout
Back knucle, Fatal fury 3 1995 before kof95.
@@Topafighter98 You're right:
Fatal Fury 3 : March 25, 1995
KOF 95 : 27 July, 1995
Terry is basically 30 years of fighting game history.
indeed!

Luv it! True SNK's fan!

It's a great idea! i'll write it down for future projects. Thank you very much.
Cuando hace un perfect parry a veces dice "predictabo" al estilo de Geese.
Buen hallazgo!
Wow Excellent 😮
Thank you!
I can’t tell if it’s a good or a bad thing that i could spot just about every one of these references from his trailers. Lmao
nice!
Thanks!
*I NO HAVE YOUR SHIRT!*
Thank you for the input. I'll try harder and do better next time.
