For what I use my Mac for, (obsessive Sims 2 usage), that suits me just fine, but if you wanna play other games, you're limited in choice. Still, a great choice for most things other than gaming.

My daughter has a MacBook Air and it seems to have given her nothing but problems. I got myself a Surface Pro 7+ and it took some time to adjust, but it's a good, "budget" 2-in-1 with solid reviews. If your MacBook bricks like my daughter's did, I'd highly recommend the Surface Pro 7+.
