Contains commercials and bumpers from a Saturday morning in 1984 on WTVD (now known as ABC11). It was part of the CBS network at the time.

It's crazy how far back the memories go. I was 4 when this aired, but much of this was still going strong by the end of the 80's and I remember it all. Television when it was broadcast off of a film transfer machine hits different. I love it!
Here's a weird thing: The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner show would pop up again on WTVD five years later... as The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show on ABC...
I was 14 and I remember Bonkers...funny 😂🍇🍒🍓🫐
These commercials remind me how fast life goes by. Some of these I feel like I watched yesterday.

Man the 80s what a decade.
I was born when WTVD switched from CBS to ABC so this is a treat for me to see commercials from when TVD was with CBS.
¿Where's the footage of the Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner Show's 1984-85 blur title cards (along with the Cartoon Gold opening)?, because there's many lost BBRR 1984-85 blur card to share in footage format yet

Yes Lord. I grew up in the Fayetteville area. Saturday mornings were cool. By 1984, I was 12/13 so. I was into Soul Train and American Bandstand and Solid Gold. Then into Rick Dees Weekly Top 40

I'm loving this! I love watching videos of WTVD and WRAL prior to their August 1985 network swap. Do you have any videos (especially WTVD) from late 1970s through early 1980s?
Chris I didn’t even realize the networks switched. I have no memory of that at all. I was watching this and thinking, “why is there an ABC station id on CBS?”

@@ClunkerSlim It was a big deal. WTVD became an ABC affiliate due to its owner (Capital Cities) merging with ABC. WRAL became one of the top CBS affiliates in the USA shortly after the switch.
