Thank you. What a great lecture and historical breakdown with connections to Freemasonry. Bravo Mitch! Wanted also to mention John J. Robinson's book "Born in Blood" which presents a convincing lineage from the Knights Templar to Freemasons. It is another avenue to where Freemason past formations may have begun over Operative Masonry origins, though that is the story Mason's historically and symbolically tell and teach in their rituals.

1:21:30. I wish I could say the same. My first exposure to masons was the president of a local lodge whose father was a lobbyist and he pulled an insurance scam on me as my chiropractor, cutting my care in half by charging double once I was on insurance. After even talking about that with me knowing I would speak out against it. Just a deeply shitty person. Actually the only other was a dude who I had been fast friends with because he was funny but when I got to know him and his wife I realized he was also deeply shitty and abusive, and has shown himself to be that more and more over the years. I wish I knew a good one.

Goat has nothing to do with Dionysus Aphrodite I mean it's not like in the 1750s their was a club called the hell fire club that was doing the same thing as the knights templars.

    Mitch Horowitz's claims and credibility:
    Critics argue that Mitch Horowitz:
    1. Oversteps his expertise on Manly P. Hall.
    2. Interprets Hall's work through his own lens.
    3. Lacks direct experience with astral projection and other esoteric practices.
    Concerns about Horowitz's approach:
    1. Armchair expertise: Lack of personal experience with astral projection.
    2. Interpretative license: Projects own views onto Hall's work.
    3. Authority issues: Presents opinions as fact.
    Manly P. Hall's teachings emphasize:
    1. Direct spiritual experience.
    2. Personal responsibility.
    3. Humility.
Horowitz's approach may contradict Hall's principles:
    1. Hall valued direct experience; Horowitz lacks astral projection experience.
    2. Hall stressed humility; Horowitz's confidence may be seen as presumptuous.
    Critics suggest:
    1. Horowitz should acknowledge limitations.
    2. Approach esoteric topics with greater humility.
    3. Avoid projecting personal views onto Hall's work.
    Red flags:
    1. Overconfidence.
    2. Lack of transparency.
    3. Disregard for direct experience.
    Evaluate Horowitz's work critically:
    1. Consider multiple sources.
    2. Verify claims.
    3. Reflect on potential biases.

Also about hermeticism let me educate this guy about this figure that started that and i guarantee you that you do not know this detail. Hermes/thoth/tehuti/Idris of islam all refer to the same being but the truth is if you want to get to the root it is triloknath aka shiva from india.
Now this figure shiva is a very complex character so if you wish to dive deep on this being know that there are a recorded 64 avatars or versions of him; that is just what is recorded. To me its unknown if there is anymore than that.
If you really want to dive deep on the occult study ancient india not ancient egypt. You will be wasting your time if you focus on egypt guaranteed.

Just like how freemasonary has its secrets shrouded in allegory expect the same with the vedas or any type of ancient scripture in india.
