- I am so excited and honored to be the new drummer of Shadow Of Intent. Anthony Barone is truly on another level and I definitely have some HUGE shoes to fill. I wish Anthony the best with his career and his future. This was filmed right before the Shadow's headlining Melancholy Winter Tour in January that I did. There is no quantizing of any kind, and no sample replacement except for the kick trigger used. This was also the first time I had ever played this song on a kit. I had just gotten off a tour with Abigail Williams, and I had about a week to learn these songs by ear. I'll be putting out more playthroughs from each album. Can't wait to track the next one! 😍🖤

Great playing! I love these genuine drum playthroughs, you can hear tiny little "mistakes" but if anything that just really proves how awesome your drumming is when you can tell it's completely unedited
Exactly,i even like the small little "mistakes". It sounds real. Everything nowdays in modern metal are 95% edited

That's up to your drummer, no amount of good gear will fix bad timing. Practicing to a metronome does wonders 💙
