Your my favorite of all of the people that covers Kensington. Your more thorough with the descriptions of everything. I also believe you have a big heart because you love dogs. You don't cuss like some on here, and I also like that. Thank you!! Lol Did anyone ever tell you that you sound and laugh just like Eddie Murphy?

Toon! Great videos! Learning a lot about Kensington area. It's interesting especially the history.
I actually just brought the house on N Lee that you mentioned. It's very interesting to see the progress in Kensington being made in these neighborhoods from your older videos not to long ago to these more recent videos. Development is moving quickly. Thanks for all the tours!

Ay Toon, a cool note about the W Kensington Ministry is that a lot of diy punk, hardcore, and metal shows were held there. You might not expect it from a church but there’s been some really dope shows there featuring philly local bands like Jesus Piece or Kaonashi, and touring bands from all over. One of my favorite venues from the Philly hardcore scene.
I haven’t been to a show there since I lived in PA (2016), but I believe they still held a few shows there in the years that followed. I don’t believe there’s many shows held there anymore. Here’s a video of the Philly locals, Jesus Piece, playing there a few years back ruclips.net/video/UmgaSimf4FU/видео.html

Yup your right I grew up right next to it born and raised. I knew the original pastor from the 90s before he passed away and I know the new pastor REV ADAN. They just started that rock stuff recently. One day me and my wife were walking by cracking up cuz its like you said HEAVY metal stuff. But suprisingly they were cursing like crazy. Scream singing saying,,, f*ckkkkkkk and sh*tttt and all types of stuff. Im like what in tarnation type music they got going on in that church 😂😂😂😂 But I know the new pastor is more passive then the old pastor. They have open mic night there too, and we use to hold a lot of community meetings in there for Norris square, You'd be surprised how involved I was in my community for 15 plus years, from my early teens to 26-27 until I left the 9-5 work environment in 2016. ❤️😎👍🏼
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and dropping a comment, Have a wonderful and blessed day 💯

4 neighborhoods out of thr 150+ neighborhoods carry the Kensington name.
      Kensington (or north kensngton)
      West kensington
      East kensington
      And Olde kensington.
Just visit front and dauphin street next to the train statio. The library says real big on it. WEST KENSINGTON LIBRARY BRANCH.

The new buildings are likely investment because of the 2026 Football World Cup in 2026, I mentioned on your Friday night live. Some of the games will be played at Lincoln financial field, which I imagine you know.
Your city is going to change a lot in the next 3 years. NO MORE POTHOLES. NO MORE NEEDLES 😆

Haha thank you for sharing your knowledge and thoughts however this neighborhood has been undergoing construction for the last 15 to 20 years as you see in this video it's been a long progress not sure if it has anything to do with that sports event coming but hopefully the potholes will be gone by then too 😅😅😅☮️🙏😊😎

Yup. Convenience. People pay for convenience.... downtown is 5-10 min away.
And not sure if you caught the part when I said 90% of the potholes came after the new houses were built. Everytime they build a new house they have to rip the street open and do the plumbing. Then they do a poor patch job. They don't permanently fix the street because in a few months to a few years they will rip it open again for another house.
Many of these streets were freshly paved but they end up doing plumbing work and boom. New pothole. The city works backwards sometimes 😅😂😂😂😂
