Thanks, I did this once before and took the tops off and was able to snap them off but this time they didn’t want to come off… lol had to spin them all back on and they all broke free once they were on… thanks
I need help with this too! A good deal of my spacers snapped poorly (above the tile line) and now I can't pluck them out without damaging the tiles; any ideas?

How do you remove the stuck ones?
For any threads that we're stuck afterwards I used a pair of tile nippers to grab it and remove it. Too much force and it will break though.
