Great video! Sacrificing pieces to gain position often means you are on the attack, thinking as a winner. Too much defense often leads to lost games. I love how you explain these traps.
Sir, thank you for such and incredible video. I have watched several video's for beginners and this one is the best I have ever seen. I have applied your method of pins and forks and immediately my score has risen very quickly!!! Thanks you so much!
Hey mate. This is excellent. Just getting back in to chess after years of not playing. Was only an average player at best but now looking to lift my game. I've viewed a bunch of different chess sites on you tube and there are a few good ones, but the way you explain it really clicked with me. Straight to the point and good, quick ways of explaining the various options. You're an excellent teacher, thanks for taking the time to share. This really does help train my tactical mind.
I only play scandinavian and center game and I didnt know these, its pretty cool. 2:30 I figured out immediately the rook sacrifice when you paused but I had never thought of it before. Didnt think there were traps. But once you know its possible you can figure it out if the position is familiar enough
Excellent traps I have already downloaded ur previous similar video of 7 best openings traps alongwith 5 best traps agains sicilian defence (both parts) and this will also be going in same important folder keep up the good work Igor 😊😊 ☺
Brilliant! Thank you. Of course later in life as i watch your video I realize all the traps my opponent was playing on me. I've gone as far as a person can go without books or videos but now it's time to up my game.
You most certainly are in a council of War...I've never played a single game. THAT will change because of this series/movie. But War Council is a brilliant term to understand the process of thinking through the moves.

On my level, this is the "chess teacher" for me - clearly explaining and highlighting every move. In other videos I can't figure out why moves are considered good or bad! Sort of "Chess for Dummies (me)"! LOL

Great job
What is the right move for White Queen in the last trap?
Cool traps, really instructive. Unfortunately, the central game is quite unpopular (at least at my 1300 lvl).
Very good centre game traps 👍
