The first two pizza places were so bougey. Rosas looked legit as hell with actual care put into presentation with the paper and everything, serving you with care inside chill not hustling to get a full pie and back out before getting kicked out of parking. This is what happens after NYC got gentrified for so long in those places. This is also a perfect example of why sharing what you actually care about on youtube is always the best strategy, you didnt care about the first two places and it showed and it wasn't fun, but then when you actually showed us the place you cared about it was like magic. This is why we watch your channel, because we like what you like!
I think I have reached that point where I would watch a Hoonigan travel vlog and not have to hear them talk about cars the whole time. I just enjoy seeing all the friends hanging together.

Drank his ass under the table, except it was eating pizza instead lmao Also, I'm a proud card carrying member of the MORE-RON crew! SHOUT OUT
First two pizza places: Stressful atmosphere outside with lots of traffic and the only people I saw walk by had long white and gray hair like they were 75. The pizza focused too much on appearance and appeared to be in one of those "upscale" neighborhoods where all the rich old people who moved to nyc live. The second two places were totally chill on the outside and immediately felt much more welcoming. We saw people of different ages and ethnicities. The hole in the wall stuff may not appear on the outside to be perfect, but in fact had the best pizza and all the people in the area were so friendly and happy to see you. What a difference in locations!

My picks for best in NYC (not that anyone cares!) is Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria Napolitana, Pizza Palace on Dyckman Ave in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, Deninos on Staten Island (gotta go to Ralph’s Italian ices after right across the street) and L&B Spumoni Gardens on 86th Street in Brooklyn. Gotta go back and do it all over again!!
As a tri-stater, a pizza place should be judged on it's plain slice. That's also how you know you're in the correct area of the country for pizza; it's a plain slice, not a cheese slice.
