For the mobbing build if u use "Skill Simplification" instead of "Focus on Dimension", you can slot it into the X slot and then slot "Multitalented" into the M slot and that will open up enough space to add another R mod of ur choice to the build I personally added more defense, and u dont loose any dmg (u get a few % more I believe actually) and the Massive Sanguification still has 0 downtime even when u remove the 6.1% cooldown from the build. With that build im at ~20k hp and 40k defense, which is absurd for such an effective aoe build. Would love to slot some effeciency into the build so each use doesnt tank hp that much but theyre all M socket so cant take out any of those mods sadly, wish reactors could roll with bit higher numbers for skill cost. I actually had identical sockets on my build somehow, guess great minds think alike xD
@@dokkie9979 go into lab remove all ability boosting mods an put a lv 1 reactor on and you'll find her damage on massacre doesnt change much cause she is bugged and doesnt benifit from ability scaling atm, prity sure the extra damage from missing hp and walk a tightrope (cause firepower boost) are the only thing that works on her right now. im really bothered by the fact NOBODY is talking about this at all.
Good information on gley, yes. However, one important thing that is not mentioned is that this gley is getting buffed by Enzo which is huge to give that god like crit hit rate. Don’t want ppl to come watching this thinking they are just gonna go into pub lobbies and wreck Gluttony. This is a carefully thought out team tactic approach this gley is in vs gluttony. Two Enzos and two Gleys both getting Enzo buffs is massive dmg increase
The samething i was thinking. when he showed off the gregs build when he brought in a friend for the boss to be extra tanky and his friend didnt shoot. I noticed he had the enzo buff.

For those who are unaware, don't copy this build thinking that you alone will defeat Gluttony in 59 seconds. To achieve that time, you need an Enzo with the critical buff, the entire Moxy build, and someone to hold the boss's shoulder and destroy him to give Moxy more time to shoot. Of course, a good team with high damage is also necessary. Only when you have all these conditions are you ready to take 59 seconds on Gluttony. Other than that, the build is very good on the other bosses. I was surprised that he created a build like mine.

To achieve that time, he used two gleys, with Enzo's buff, everyone was fully built, apart from the boss's mechanics that they took advantage of, like holding the shoulder, etc.

I've been rocking a Super Sense build with a fully kitted Afterglow sword so far for group play. It allows me to solo almost any of the hard intercepts too with the damage it puts out but is not quite as fast as some of these. I've done some testing with Explosive Life and it actually does a boatload of damage, so if you really wanted to build her for mobbing, I highly recommend trying it out. When I was leveling her through Kiper Mining or the other Wave activities, that build allowed me to solo one of the points easily while a bunny/valby/rest of the team went after the others. Its explosions trigger HP collector so you can survive very well with it even though you are no longer picking up the orbs.
Don't let anyone trash talk you for using super sense, it's a great and easy way to reach 100% uptime on infinite ammo without massive investment and the damage output is GOOD.

Like if someone wanna use the usual smg build then super senses is not good but with a hand canon or sniper it's very good. predator instinct only works for naturally automatic weapons, despite the new feature than all weapons can be shot on "automatic", if it's a burst or a single shot weapon, it won't proc predator instinct, it's actually better to just not use the module on the weapon plat build
There's a lot of misinformation going around about Massacre. Massacre adds a **flat** damage amount to the firearm atk taken from your gun, meaning fire rate is king when it comes to choosing a weapon. The only mods you need for Massacre are fire rate, weak point, and Mental Focus. It does not use crit. Blue Blood Bloomer can technically be the best Massacre weapon, but it's not a big enough to difference to warrant farming an additional reactor. Python is the most sensible choice since it shoots very fast and already wants the mods Massacre does.
@@hadmos855I believe the unique weapon has its own crit, and ignore the crit from weapon, both the crit chance and damage. But take it with a pinch of salt. I heard this from another RUclipsr.

I'm so glad i invested in Ult Gley. The more I play with her, the more I love her. And that tip about the AoE toggle for damage and then healing is YUGE! Not sure if theyll nerf that, but I'm damn sure gonnna start using that on the adds in colossus fights.
Just wanna mention I use the skill simplification/maximize duration setup with only purple skill cooldown on my reactor. There is a .04 downtime but I still have 100% uptime on my 3 and my mental focus stacks. Ty for the vid moxxy good work
hey is it good? better then the comfy setup? I'm farming a good reactor trying to get both purples and I wonder if its better. Another question is if the damager bigger then lets say non attribute(purple) and cd(purple) because isntead of skill duration up I can get dimension or non attribute or collosus damage. Making getting the reactor easier. I wonder how much is skill simplification better then focus on non dimension and plus maximize duration removes 20%.
@@egis4500 its more damage than the comfy setup, the comfy setup is only so you dont have to worry about dropping your 3. but you need cooldown on reactor, i tested duration UP and you lose a lot of uptime. you can get away with purp cooldown but needa be strict on timing, gold cooldown i imagine makes it almost as easy as comfy setup. best dps is gonna be gold cooldown gold colossus dmg
im a rocket gley, just wish the option to turn off explosions was for self to not just others =\ for normal trash and if you want to see i just use thundercage
Very thorough guide and some very good builds. My only issue is your Component set of choice. Annihilation set outperforms Slayer set in damage for Gley and allows you to maintain your survivability.
Moxsy, love all your builds. Crazy strong understanding of the skills and synergies. I would love to see a RUclipsr with your knowledge make a build series for players with just one activator or maybe 3 catalysts for farming. You would corner the rest of the base because noone else is doing this. People love to see max potential but reality is most of the base has time for one maxed out character and they want to make their other character's just fun to play with for farming. I see you being the youtuber to deliver actual builds for the main player base. This type video is awesome
I've been using the exact same build for bossing since I got Gley, but with sharp precision shot instead of mental focus (Hate to keep track of stacks). I was also running iron defense instead of spear and shield, but you convinced me to change ! Really good guide.
@@Harmonic14 Never said you couldn't keep stack up, just that I hate it. And in theory you can keep stack, in practical you'll never do cause sometimes you need to dodge/press 3/do mechanics/grapple etc Also kinda more annoying to aim with mental focus
I think as a sidenote, you should mention subbing out spear and shield for shield conversion (def) for harder bosses or when the build someone's python's dps is not quite enough where survivability becomes much more important. I think the extra %76.9 def goes a long way for those having a tough time without a completed build.
For mobbing I just use "weapon platform" build and thundercage and run around auto shotting and using her third ability off cooldown all the time and just aim with my mouse and everything pops. When you are constantly shooting with the third ability on she runs faster and isnt slow
Blood and Iron is way better for group content, You can heal yourself like crazy and you can still activate Massacre fast. Sanguification is only good for bosses you can burst fast, zero sustain after bug was fixed. No more wall draining.
You know whats also fun, using the single-shot launcher with unlimited ammo. :D It has crazy crit stats compared to the quadlauncher and the highest single basedamage besides snipers and that aoe makes it good for mobbing.

For mobbing build swap multitalented into malachite instead of focus on dimension put skill simplication in star slot and spear n sheild in rutile slot. No mods in the red and hits considerably harder and still instant cooldowns.
My honest experience with Massive Sanguification teammates, they pop all their skills and start stacking Mental Focus. Boss spawns and targets them first and one shots them. Every, single, time.
Can we get budget versions of these please Moxsy? Just something as a starting platform on what is important to at least be able to use the character before the 11 resets you've invested.
a little tip for your videos. if youd like to show how youd build a weapon but don't have it invested yet, just put on all the mods you would need, but not leveled.
Definitely should let people know how your getting buffed when showing the damage your putting out pretty misleading to people thinking they will get the same damage
Hello Moxsy, i got an god tier reactor and could use skill simplification in combination with the annihilator set. Would this be the maxed out version? How much DMG increase would i get from using skill simplification?
For mobbing im using hp collector. Gives 9% life back every 2 sec, so for every #2 activation. Still has to takes heal orb every few skill uses. Can outfarm Bunny with that build is so nice for Kuiper mine or defense.

hey, you have been going super hard on the first descendant, but i was wondering if you have thought about checking out once human. it is a new game and i need ur brain, you are a master craftsman when it comes to making OP builds. Ive been trying to cook up a few builds in once human but i thought about you because i used to watch all your borderlands 3 builds.
Negative cooldown is a good thing, it means skills cooldown is lowered. Positive cooldown would be bad, meaning the skill takes longer to come back after use.
Since Python’s unique ability also decreases both non-attribute and toxic resistance, wouldn’t it be better to just slot toxic enhance/priority instead of Electric? Since you are effectively getting the element shred. Other than that, i pretty much rock the same build and it’s super fun, but using hp amplification instead of battle of stamina. With a gold cooldown, it’s 7.4 cd with 8.1s duration.
Is massive sanguification the best all around transcendent mod? Are mods like blood and iron or demonic modification just that much worse? Great guide though

As much crit and weak point as possible along with the staple mods like blue firearm attack and fire rate, action and reaction, and for the gold mod probably either mental focus or sharp precision shot
Hey moxsy I have a question, I have my Gley all maxed out now my issues stems from Elemental mods, i'm at the point where the only way to have the needed capacity is if I catalyst my last empty slot but those are for elemental mod and for elemental resistance whom are all different Icons. isn't slotting an element a really bad idea unless you have a weapon for every element? or am I over valuing elemental weakness? (man these elements all being different icons and taking 16 cap is hurtin lol)
In my own tests on thundercage for Gley, edging shot was actually the same or slightly more damage than electric enhancement vs Devourer. I'm assuming this is because elemental damage does not scale with weak point damage so more crit was just as good. And edging shot works on all bosses regardless of element
Mounting means you have the gun in your hand, so since you have the Greg's Fate equipped you won't get that massive 60% bonus to skill power from a Python reactor.
If you want your massacre bullet to deal more dmg, you can go for it. Most massacre builds focusing solely on the non-attribute dmg(additional dmg) because the weapon stat doesn't effect the additional dmg. That's why most people prefer python because of its high fire rate.
I have the best aoe farmer (bunny), best boss killer till turtle (lepic), I wanna build a gunner. What would be the best? Enzo? Valby? Frenya? Gley? I don't have enzo's Red mod, I have all the needed for rest.
Gley is meant to be single target constant DPS build her like this. Let the farming build for characters that excel at it untill they rework the slot mechanic. Nothing beats bunny in open world farm / dungeon the same way nothing beats viessa at spawn camp , valby is hybrid of bunny and viessa which can also turn into single target dps via Moisture module. Most of these builds on yt dont work as intented in pubs so dont get baited , think about what u see in the video , the party members.
Just gonna point out that I used these builds for my Gley, and the mobbing AOE spam build was a lifesaver for levelling and re-levelling after catalysation, it made the whole process a lot less painful than endlessly mobbing with a gun (even if it's the thundercage). Absolutely no reason why anyone can't use it in general play. Just don't take it to an intercept battle.
wanted a bosser, got Gley, then soon after had 3/4 of Ult Gley so i waited. I've been farming for the second piece i think for about 2 weeks when i can with no luck. even playing the maps at 240%-250% and barely ever get any shaping materials after killing Devourer. only up side being that i have more matts now to reassign slots for something, even though most of the farm spots are fairly boring and somewhat time consuming to just add a small bump. I've been putting some into python, and at least leveled greg's and gaze but not putting anything into those two currently. having the pattern and components 1 and 3 made me think i could hold on and just get ult gley for a better bosser than just base characters maybe with the right elements or python to try and kill things. so far certainly not the case.
general round's Better Insight gives a bigger bonus that other round types' so it's worth it even on 5% crit, also you might find an enzo with the pylons. Max skill range for mass sanguinfication lets gley solo vespers shard exp farm.

Strengthen First Shot was fixed in today's patch. You can no longer fire a rocket into the air and retain the buff from that mod.

That trick with getting healing from unfrenzying as the frenzy version damage hits is nutty. I love her.
Even if you fail it/nexon nerf it, you can still just press the C again to get aoe heal.

Mental Focus is more damage, and keeping stacks up is beyond simple... Land a hit every 2 seconds or less, and you don't lose any stacks.

For mobbing I just use "weapon platform" build and thundercage and run around auto shotting and using her third ability off cooldown all the time and just aim with my mouse and everything pops. When you are constantly shooting with the third ability on she runs faster and isnt slow
Blood and Iron is way better for group content, You can heal yourself like crazy and you can still activate Massacre fast. Sanguification is only good for bosses you can burst fast, zero sustain after bug was fixed. No more wall draining.

It has crazy crit stats compared to the quadlauncher and the highest single basedamage besides snipers and that aoe makes it good for mobbing.

For mobbing build swap multitalented into malachite instead of focus on dimension put skill simplication in star slot and spear n sheild in rutile slot. No mods in the red and hits considerably harder and still instant cooldowns.

My honest experience with Massive Sanguification teammates, they pop all their skills and start stacking Mental Focus. Boss spawns and targets them first and one shots them. Every, single, time.
They shouldn't be using Massive Sanguification in Gluttony and any other boss isn't coming close to killing them unless their build sucks.

Hello Moxsy, i got an god tier reactor and could use skill simplification in combination with the annihilator set. Would this be the maxed out version? How much DMG increase would i get from using skill simplification?
For mobbing im using hp collector. Gives 9% life back every 2 sec, so for every #2 activation. Still has to takes heal orb every few skill uses. Can outfarm Bunny with that build is so nice for Kuiper mine or defense.
If you’re using massive sang you can swap out of frenzy as your 2nd hit and you’ll straight up only heal, making hp collector kinda doodoo

Ive been trying to cook up a few builds in once human but i thought about you because i used to watch all your borderlands 3 builds.
Is the negative percent skill cooldown good or bad? Im confused with the game mechanics
Negative cooldown is a good thing, it means skills cooldown is lowered. Positive cooldown would be bad, meaning the skill takes longer to come back after use.
Since Python’s unique ability also decreases both non-attribute and toxic resistance, wouldn’t it be better to just slot toxic enhance/priority instead of Electric? Since you are effectively getting the element shred.
Other than that, i pretty much rock the same build and it’s super fun, but using hp amplification instead of battle of stamina. With a gold cooldown, it’s 7.4 cd with 8.1s duration.
Are you referencing the pythons unique for her 4? Cause unique abilities don't work on her 4, just the stats and modules on the weapon.

Hey moxsy I have a question, I have my Gley all maxed out now my issues stems from Elemental mods, i'm at the point where the only way to have the needed capacity is if I catalyst my last empty slot but those are for elemental mod and for elemental resistance whom are all different Icons.
isn't slotting an element a really bad idea unless you have a weapon for every element? or am I over valuing elemental weakness? (man these elements all being different icons and taking 16 cap is hurtin lol)
In my own tests on thundercage for Gley, edging shot was actually the same or slightly more damage than electric enhancement vs Devourer. I'm assuming this is because elemental damage does not scale with weak point damage so more crit was just as good. And edging shot works on all bosses regardless of element

Mounting means you have the gun in your hand, so since you have the Greg's Fate equipped you won't get that massive 60% bonus to skill power from a Python reactor.
He's not using skill power if he's using Greg's Fate, that's just for massacre.
Gley reactor only important for massacre build. It doesn't add any dmg for Greg build
Massicure build: Would the enduring not be better? A 20% hit rate, a higher 30% atk, but a 30% lower fire rate?
If you want your massacre bullet to deal more dmg, you can go for it. Most massacre builds focusing solely on the non-attribute dmg(additional dmg) because the weapon stat doesn't effect the additional dmg. That's why most people prefer python because of its high fire rate.

I have the best aoe farmer (bunny), best boss killer till turtle (lepic), I wanna build a gunner. What would be the best? Enzo? Valby? Frenya? Gley? I don't have enzo's Red mod, I have all the needed for rest.

Gley is meant to be single target constant DPS build her like this. Let the farming build for characters that excel at it untill they rework the slot mechanic. Nothing beats bunny in open world farm / dungeon the same way nothing beats viessa at spawn camp , valby is hybrid of bunny and viessa which can also turn into single target dps via Moisture module. Most of these builds on yt dont work as intented in pubs so dont get baited , think about what u see in the video , the party members.
Just gonna point out that I used these builds for my Gley, and the mobbing AOE spam build was a lifesaver for levelling and re-levelling after catalysation, it made the whole process a lot less painful than endlessly mobbing with a gun (even if it's the thundercage).
Absolutely no reason why anyone can't use it in general play. Just don't take it to an intercept battle.

wanted a bosser, got Gley, then soon after had 3/4 of Ult Gley so i waited. I've been farming for the second piece i think for about 2 weeks when i can with no luck. even playing the maps at 240%-250% and barely ever get any shaping materials after killing Devourer. only up side being that i have more matts now to reassign slots for something, even though most of the farm spots are fairly boring and somewhat time consuming to just add a small bump. I've been putting some into python, and at least leveled greg's and gaze but not putting anything into those two currently.
having the pattern and components 1 and 3 made me think i could hold on and just get ult gley for a better bosser than just base characters maybe with the right elements or python to try and kill things. so far certainly not the case.
general round's Better Insight gives a bigger bonus that other round types' so it's worth it even on 5% crit, also you might find an enzo with the pylons.
Max skill range for mass sanguinfication lets gley solo vespers shard exp farm.
