    I'm so happy for Olivia; I felt she earned this win like all the others. She's very modest and really just grateful to do what she is just so damn good at! I hope to see her more on screen as she is such a uniquely divine talent. And she definitely was a little boozy her voice is different here lol.

      She definitely was a little boozy but I think her voice is just hoarse. It sounds like she has a cold or sore throat.

    Brilliant actress who can portray any role effortlessly. Loved her in the Crown so this award is very much deserved ! She’s so down to earth and humble and exudes so much joy ♥️

    This is not a 'speech'. It's simply her answering a few questions from the press after her award.
    I loved her answer for what she'd like to ask the queen. Excellent.

    She's lovely. I look forward to her speeches the most. This happy panicky word flourish makes my day everytime. I can relate to that, if I was ever in such a happy position.

    I saw Olivia Colman on stage in London in Hay Fever. She is so modest here but she is an amazing actor. There are moments in The Crown where she almost allows you to read the thought as it passes through the Queen's mind and with no obvious change in facial expression; as if the light behind the eyes is changing somehow, Takes her place with Helen Mirren, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, and Meryl Streep. Something magical happening with the most subtle of touches. I love how she emphasises the craft of what she does here; that's my job, she says. How charming.

    Olivia needs to credot herself and her work more. She always understates her own performance. No one can love this woman and her work enough!

    Olivia Coleman is such a good actress. I only saw here in Broadchurch, a BBC detective series that unfortunately only lasted 2 seasons. The thing about Olivia Coleman is that she is a very ordinary looking person with bad teeth. It’s really an inspiration for everyone.

    Jodie Comer is more talented in my opinion.
    She also won all the other awards including the emmy.
    Maybe Gervais was not joking.. about big film companies buying the adwards.

    • @soumig2382
      @soumig2382 4 года назад +3

      What Jodie did was truly remarkable but one mustn't forget that Olivia absolutely NAILED the role of Queen Elizabeth ii especially the dialect of the era and at the same time she had a burden of doing as equally good as her predecessor (Claire foy) which again she did spectacularly...so I guess she won that's why........plus it's difficult to play a character who is alive one must portray the human side of the monarch and at the same time not insult or offend in anyway the institution and it's ppl

      These people always complaining about the cast change are not fans of the show. They are just fans of the original cast. Real fans of the show loved both the ensembles because we understand the story. Their different-but-intrinsically-the-same-character portrayals are what the story requires. Real fans know how people change, especially how they cope (and sometimes, defy things) with the changing times. And that has always been the monarchy. It's the story, it's history.
