Today I am talking about what happens if you don't file your taxes. I answer this question from two perspectives:
    - First, I talk about what happens if you don't file your taxes from a procedural program within the IRS: What will the IRS do if you don't file your tax returns?
    - Then, in the second part of this video, I discuss the consequences of not filing your taxes.

The ONLY reason to file a tax "return" is IF you're LIBEL FOR THE TAX. TAXABLE YEARS ENDED AUGUST 16 1954 passed into LAW by the 83rd Congress and recorded in volume 68A AS LAW PUBLISHED in the United States Statutes at Large along with the Federal Register. Google 26 CFR 1.0-1 paragraph (d) clearly says TAXABLE YEARS began December 31 1953 and ended.....AND ENDED....AND ENDED AUGUST 16 1954. The IRS tries to create a libelity to pay a tax but if the tax had died/expired legally then there is no reason to file.

Any enforcement/compliant provisions took place the day AFTER the day of ENACTMENT AUGUST 17 1954 but on that day there was no tax to enforce as the tax by LAW died/ expired the day before August 16 1954 so there has NOT BEEN AN ENFORCEABLE INCOME TAX for 70 years!!

I have SFRs for 2010 and 2011, CSED is 2025 and 2027. I have an inheritance coming and want to end the IRS collection earlier than CSED. I had basically no profit for those 2 years after my self employed write offs. Should I file those returns now?

Yes, you can get a refund for the past three years' of tax returns. If you would be owed a refund on a tax return, the IRS generally doesn't care if you don't file. The only downside is for those folks who miss the three-year deadline to get their refund. In their case, their refund is lost forever!
