    Summary / TLDR:
    4 Stages of Competence:
    1. Unconsciously incompetent
    2. Consciously incompetent (Most people quit at this stage. Because it triggers the fear that we are not enough)
    3. Consciously competent
    4. Unconsciously competent
If you can go faster through the 4 stages you got talent.
Coat your brain in Myelin and you learn of 30 to 50% faster.
Myelin is build 10x faster when you are at Level 2.
Don’t quit at level 2 - embrace level 2 - because you learn fast to get to level 3.
    3 Stages of Learning:
    1. Intellectual understanding = People know what to do but they don’t do it..
    2. Emotional understanding = Feeling center kicks in and you are compelled to take action. Might cause action but does not last.
    3. Identity = It becomes your identity.
Ask yourself: What is your identity? Do see yourself as a millionaire?

I realize that it's not failure I'm afraid of, it's success. I've got failure down to a science, but even with a clear road map I'm still staring at my feet. This gave me a lot to think over.Thank you Mr. Sage

Embrace the discomfort, don't quit. Our fears that we are not good enough is a great hindrance to our learning. Before watching this video, I had watched 7 videos about marketing and then when it comes to the mind, even is so amazing guy. I thought its only in business. Wow wow Thank you so much Peter Sage.

I remember the first video I watch for Peter Sage... was on London Real a good channel to subscribe to btw... no as it relates to this video... I'm currently enrolled in Bsc. Entrepreneurship Ethics and Leadership, the rub is, the material being taught is below my informal education. And this video simply reminded me why I have been entertaining the thought of falling outta university to pursue projects that will help me develop real business skills. Great video Peter....

WOW Peter!! Completely blown away & the very best possible way !
Been re-learning all the better ways to learn the more valuable & meaningful stuff to learn in life. This certainly raises the bar even higher & simplifies as well as amplifies it to the stratosphere.
Time to embrace more 'Myelin' building activities with learning!
Plus make sure to not quit while in the messy phase of learning a new skill.
    C'mon everyone....you can do it!
Flex that 'Myelin' to a new level... ;-)
Much appreciated Peter!! Keep up the great work!!
    Speak soon... Nando

Hello Peter ! thank you for your video, thanks for sharing, because I can see other people are really passionated then I become more confident ! You also said something like you are learning french which pushed me to comment this video !
I am a french girl and I am a 100% passionated"entrepreneur" . I am travelling a lot and decided to don't have a proper job behind my good degrees and don't live with much money because I found something out which is a crazy evidence for me. I know this looks unusual or weird (this is not the first time..)
I was all my life "BAD" in learning languages, lucky me I could learn english last year in Australia, now I am learning german and having a look in all other languages construction & feelings, not "perfection". Something is wrong for me how we learn a language at school for example few people can speak english in France, and even in another country you have a lot of people "expat" still not able to speak the language because of mental barriers !
I will make some videos in the next 3 weeks while I am teaching french to people for free everyday exactly how I want someone teaching me a language. I am not perfect I just know I have to try because I feel this is exactly how I want someone teaching me another language.
To see the results (working or not) I will post it on youtube and keep going to improve !
If it's working : I would be able to come visit you and teaching you french for one week !
I want people to be able to understand other cultures, languages one day.
I don't know if this will work the next 3 weeks but I know that I will do it again and again and again ! This is also super "scary" for me to do that and even to write you because I don't go in the "normal way" for all other people around me.
I just really want to have some persons teaching me others languages with my method one day !
If you look to my profile : this is absolutely not perfect , I don't know how to make good videos but I try and will improve with the time ! Doesn't matter if I look stupid now, I want to see the results and how can I improve ! The experiment will start next week !

Fier d'être Fou How did it go? I have a similar experience. Some years ago I got the idea to post a video on how to speak Dutch. I posted it, and it did nothing. I got discouraged and left it at that. I forgot about it. Then 3 years later by accident I bumped into my old channel and saw that my video got 1000 subscribers!! I immediately got back on it and created more videos. So, my message to you is: don’t give up! Create quality stuff and people will come.

I'm very intrigued but I wonder if one *learns* to stop smoking, or if it's more an exercise in self (thought) control. Maybe learning in itself is an exercise in self control? You don't often hear it described as "learning" to stop smoking. Most just say they quit.

Hello. Thanks for the talk. It was the first time I've come across you, and I found it to be good. I do have two questions to put before you: 1. I am frequently surprised (and disappointed)that there are people/performers (they could be motivational speakers, they could be stand-up comedians) who repeat their performance, virtually verbatim at different events - would you say you do the same? 2. I noticed that once or twice during this talk you went walkabout, passing through the centre of the audience. What was your decision-making process here?

How do I know when I am ready to learn new things? Serious question. I have learned and been applying transformative knowledge (for me it was the work of Eckhart Tolle). But I dont know if I have applied it enough and sucked out everything I can so that I can move on to new, potentially also transformative material. Am I wasting time because I dont expose myself to new ideas?
