Congratulations Hank on your first dive in the Dual Deep!
Looking forward to more videos with your two subs.
Thank you
Good shit. Scenery reminds me of lakes near my home in California
I like California, and actually dove in Lake Tahoe
@@HankPronk been to Tahoe as a kid. Lived next to Yosemite park for most of my life. Rn in the city but still close by
That was cool, beautiful scenery too, thanks for taking us along. Looked like you were dragging along the bottom in a lot of the scenes.
Thanks, yes I was dragging because I got my aft weigh messed up. It was a bit too heavy and I had to stay real close to the bottom to see anything.
Great video! Nice editing work! The explanation at the start of the dive was very interesting. Glad you had a successful dive.
Thanks! 👍
Hank I absolutely love your channel. I would love to hear more about your passion for submarines
Thanks
Awesome job Hank and team!! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
love the new sub! this whole oceangate thing had the same effect on me as plane crashes and got me wanting to learn everything there is to learn about submersibles so that I can know what's safe and then once I know what's safe I just desperately want to go down in a sub lmao. you seem to have a lot of stuff really figured out safety wise, and I find your channel super inspiring! good shit, Hank Pronk! _GREAT_ name, Hank Pronk. it's such a good name for a dude who makes his own submersibles!
Thanks
@@HankPronk that's about the best response i could expect to what was, in retrospect, a pretty deranged comment. hope you had a good weekend 😆
Gorgeous Location, great vid.
Thank you, it is beautiful here
This is so cool! Just found your channel om a kootenay resident born and raised, these lakes are my childhood its so cool to see someone with the means and drive to accomplish what so many have talked about jokingly and thats so cool. Hopefully you work your way up to kootenay lake that would be so cool if your allowed but maybe dangerous
I have lots of plans for Crawford Bay dives. Just waiting for some things to come together.
Nice dive Hank!
Thanks!
Nice Scenery
We are lucky to live here, this is close to my home.
I was wondering how things were progressing, especially in light of the Oceangate mishap. Beautiful lake, btw.
We have some interesting plans going forward
Have you considered going to Kelowna to look for Ogopogo?
I wouldn't mind diving around Rattle Snake Island
Fantastic.
Thank you
Can you make a how to make video on co2 scrubber? Allso looks like fun!
Yes I will
I recently went swimming at a clear warm lake and swam alongside some fish and suddenly realized why it's worth the effort of doing this
Yes agreed
Hank, whats the deepest you've ever dived in a home made submarine?
Just under 400 feet
now that looks like a real and safe sub unlike you kow who great job id love that
Thank you
I covet your scrubbers!
They are not much different than what we all use, they are just shaped to fit the leg tube.
I know we only see a glimpse of the dive, but it looked like you were dragging on the bottom most of the time and didn’t achieve neutral buoyancy. Intentionally?
I was dragging a bit, because the sub was not quite balanced right. The lead weights need to be moved forward a pinch. Also I was hugging the bottom to see in the poor visibility.
How much to take me to the Titanic?
Too soon
So You pump the Submarine Ballast TNK with a high-pressure water ballast pump Followed By Low-Pressure Water? Then when you want to pump water out Of the Ballast Tank You want to Pump water out with a High-Pressure Water Ballast Pump Followed By a Low-pressure Water Followed By High-pressure Air Followed By Low-Pressure Air When You see More Air Bubbles Than Water You Shut the Ballast Pump Valve Off And Follow It With Low-Pressure Air To Surface Submarine. Want to know if I'm Right? Thanks, From Jay
If I was going to swap a tank I would first want to have Liz buy war bonds again from the first person who offered them at the railroad station where I first pondered the question, why would Wendy wonder weather Walter was with Wanda waiting with wally which Willy went.
