IMDB sums up this movie like this:
“An unusual event creates a lightning which in turns gives superhuman abilities to an ambitious tailor, whose responsibility is now to protect his home village from the evil plans of the antagonist.”
I’d also add this: the antagonist has a layered origin story and it suggests that evil was provoked in the child that would become the broken Shibu. Mental health and ambition are other themes this film takes on. With comedy and genuine depictions of this culture we get far more than just another superhero movie. It’s a movie about living out to will the good of the other for the sake of the other. This is true love and when lightning strikes will it enhance evil or good in the heart of humanity?

for me this was the best superhero movie to come out of last few years ,,, its becasue of its story and actors ,, great performance by everyone especially the villain ,, the way he was sitting in the field after the house was burned watching that mask was giving me chills ,, i am not from kerala but i am highly impressed by malyalam film industry ,,
malayalam movies are down to earth, and shows simplicity of people in there, and they tell the story of common people most of the times
The story takes place in the 90s and his style resembles George micheal
