Kinda sucks that you would have issues with graphics in civ 5 out of all games since I feel like civ 5 excels the best in that department. Also I feel like I had too much fun even if you didn't like it. Stream felt like one hour. Anyways thanks for the stream!!

I think the main problem with 5 is that it really wants you to play it in a certain way. I've heard that it's only really good with mods like Vox Populi but I haven't tried it yet.
i'll be honest, you shoulda just played on chieftain or warlord for this run - Civ5 is a different enough game from 4 that it's worth playing it the first time on an easier difficulty to learn the ropes, sad that the lesson learned from the Civ3 stream didn't really sink in

Honestly, I think Civ 5 is kinda lame and I'm not sure what's supposed to be appealing about it - it seems like the wrong direction for the franchise. I'm hyped for the 24 hour stream. Otsu.
It's a shame that the game runs like ass on Windows 11, the game becomes really comfy once you get used to some of it's bs, getting over that initial knowledge wall takes a bit of time tho

I feel if Pippa got some more time to get used to Civ 5 and if the backseating was less aggressive she may be able to enjoy it a lot more.
