Latest Jag models are very reliable. Unfortunately most people stick to the past jag reputation. Thanks for great review, guys.
There are still big issues with Jag. XF electrical, fuel pumps and corrosion
I had an XJ6’and loved driving it. I had a lot of trouble with the motors going out on the power windows. It’s a fun car to drive, but I have been thinking about a F-Pace. 😊
Owner of 2.0 diesel F-Pace with 80,000 km on the clock. Other than a front wheel bearing that needed replacement it is a pretty reliable vehicle.
I own a 2021 F-Pace P400 and it has been very reliable. The thermostat was faulty and replaced under warranty but that's the only issue other than software updates and a couple of minor recalls done during regular service visits. I have no problem recommending this vehicle.
Been an owner of F Pace since 2021. So far it’s been very reliable and no issues. Only have to update the system when there’s an upgrade available. But fun drive, precision and very good highway mileage. Drove from Montreal to Florida back and it was a breeze.
How many stops along the way?
Got my 2017 F-pace S model. new. Only issue has been a faulty back door lock. Fixed under warranty. Terrific car to drive. Had more issues by far with a new Mercedes S and VW Touareg.
And you get to say, "It's a Jaaaag"
I’ve owned two and about to about to lease my third! It is the greatest car I’ve owned! I wish they weren’t going all electric! I’ve never had one single problem with any of my F paces! Love ❤❤❤❤
I am so pleased with my 2.5T 2018 F Pace. No issues at 70k miles. And the engine and transmission are great. Comfortable easy driver keeping rpm low in neighborhoods but then great fun to go to sports mode and navigate the mountain curves in Colorado.
Almost got the SVR. What a sweet ride. Ended up with an X5M50I. I did love the Jag. Felt special
My partner has a 2023 F Pace here in the UK! We love it, the ride is comfy, it handles well. Reliability - a couple of very minor glitches with regard to infotainment just like we had on a BMW. Mechanically so far so good! Would entirely recommend.
2017 FPace, first model year. Was in once for warranty work which was for the infotainment screen. Now have a 2020 FPace and only in twice for regular maintenance. No issues whatsoever. I am impressedwith the reliabilty. Highway driving in BC is fun with this vehicle!
5L v8 SC in the SVR is definitely NOT overkill! It's awesome! I've had my 22 for more than a year and it is fantastic!
Not sure why everyone keeps going on about reliability with jaguars, If you look at current Audi's, BMW's and Merc's, their reliability is no better, but nobody mentions that, so please guys in future videos if you are going to slate Jags reliability, please also mention these other brands are not much better, Anyway, I have a 2020, XF sportbreak, petrol 25T, 250HP, from new, and have not had any problems with it, my previous car was a Jag 5l supercharged, XJ, Beautiful car also had no problems, I am sure my next car will also be a Jaguar.
Might wanna go Genesis. Much better value and may be more premium as well
Fully agree. All other Germans cars are more worse than China cars.. absolute rubbish.
@@JGisMe2013
Nobody would compare a Genesis to a Jaguar.
@@Art-is-craft thats because you living in the past and dont no any better. Its 2024 and Genesis is most definitely competing with all luxury brands and even better than most overall when talking suv’s
@@JGisMe2013
No it is not.
Owner of 2017 2.0 diesel F-Pace with 78000 miles. We live in the Colorado mountains. The great handling from dry pavement to deep snow makes this vehicle the best we have ever owned. We have never had any problems. Recommended oil and filter changes, and new tires at 54000 miles. I do believe Jaguar is making a big mistake going all electric.
I have a 2018 with the super charged V6. Only issue was a the slightest vibration that turned out to be an inner front wheel bearing, covered under warranty. I still love the car after 5 years and would buy another one. Just got back from a trip to Vegas from Vancouver with my two older brothers and it was great.
Had one since 2016, 3.0s, no issues with reliability, eventually found the courage to order a new one.
Look at you two classing it up in your leather jackets. Nice compliment with the Jag. Zack, passed up your double entendre moment with “wood”. I saw your smile. You were thinking about something, but held back….lol
I have a lot of experience and miles under my belt with these vehicles. They are very reliable however, in the 2021 F-pace (first year of the refresh) there were more creaks and rattles in the interior. That was my biggest complaint. Never had any engine trouble with these vehicles. The pivi pro system is phenomenal and effortless to learn. The 2022 F-Pace seemed to have a slightly better assembled interior. Less creaks and rattles. The leather is fantastic for the price of these cars. I thought it was one of the most superior interiors out there until I started driving an Aston Martin DBX. That’s a whole other level and if you want to fully understand what unreliable looks like, get an Aston.
The Jags have been a true pleasure to own. I plan on keeping mine for years to come. SVR is a must! 😀
Me and my family own 3 Jags currently. 2021 F-Pace SVR, 2022 F-Pace SVR and a 2020 F-Type SVR. I have also owned a couple other F-types, a 2018 and another 2020.
Great review guys!
I have a Jaguar XF that I absolutely love, that has been more reliable than my previous Mazda and Toyota vehicles. The F Pace is one of the best kept secrets of the crossover market, and as the brand transitions, there may be good deals out there.
Zach,
My wife has had an F Pace for two years with regular maintenance and has not had any issues including the infamous electrical issues. Really is a fine car with an unique blend of sophistication and dynamism. Sure, we are just one example of what has gone well but you asked for comments.
Always liked Jags, never owned one, but rented a few over the years, most recently an XE manual diesel, which was great. If I did buy one, it would be an F-Pace.
Great job on the review you two! Owning a E type and an F type R I have looked very hard at getting the F Pace SVR. As both those cars never fail to put a smile on my face, I am sure the F Pace would do the same. No issues after 5 years of F type ownership.
Oh ,and I thought you had showed on previous videos that Jaguar had a better reliability score than Mercedes?
I just love watching you guys!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I drive a 2024 F-Pace D200 and it’s a fantastic drive, no issues at all
I have a 2021 model had no problems over the 2 1/2 years of ownership
Supercar Blondie aka Alex would be PROUD of your lovely channel 😇
FINALLY! I’ve been waiting (and asking) for you to review the F-Pace. Though I do not own one yet, I’ve been in love with this vehicle’s exterior/interior design and have planned to replace my current vehicle with this one. Happy to hear it was as impressing driving it as it looks (though I’m not a fan of the blacked out package). Biggest concern is the reliability which appears to still be an issue based on the comments.
Buy one. You will be happy with it. Go for the SVR if you have the budget for it. Its surprisingly decent on fuel and reliable
What a car-
Nice pickup.
Thanks for sharing and great review.
Nice video of a good looking car. Glad to hear you loving the power train. I sat in one and never even started it because I spend lots of time in my car and my arms are the same length. Why is the door armrest inches lower than the center? That killed it for me, maybe they have fixed that. You two are the best!
Great content
Luv u guys
Personally I think this is one of the most stunning SUVs I’ve ever seen even this long after being the initial design. I would buy one if it were more reliable. In Europe it’s also offered as a PHEV as well.
I don't understand the reliability issues with Land Rover! We have owned 6 different models from LR33, LR4, Defenders and LR Sports. None of these have ever caused us any concern. They are just getting a bad knock because of a few out there somewhere. have faith people.
Have a 2024 p400 awesome vehicle got it in July 2023 no issues with it and love the ride
I have owned a 2017 F-type and 2020 F-pace. Zero issues other than entertainment software updates. Would not hesitate to buy another Jaguar. In fact I am considering the 2024 F-Pace after this review.
These new f paces came out in 2021 and are way more reliable than past models and compare with any other premium brand, the standard 13 way leather seats are really comfortable and soften most bumps in the road. Fantastic car.
I have a 2021 with that new interior. Always gets a lot of looks. Haven’t had reliability issues at all. The only issue is that UI…glitchy.
Before covid, at year end, they would be heavily discounted for employees and families (20 to 30 percent off for leases). Every member in my extended family had either a Jaguar or LR (they were almost as cheap as high-end Hondas). They are very reliable cars. Many of us bought them after the lease was over because the residuals were so low and cars during covid were so expensive. So far, We got 85k on our F-pace after 5 years, and we love to drive it everywhere. We had one issue with the coolant level sensor (it tells you coolant level low, but it isn't), which is not a real issue. Other than that, it really is a FUN suv to drive. We ended up paying 44k for ours. So far, I paid for 2 oil changes, and that's it (Jaguar paid for the others). From this point on, everything we get is gravy. The plus part is that the design is timeless and there are not too many of them on the roads, so they always look sharp, well, at least in our eyes. I'm not a paid spokesman for JLR😂😂😂😂
I’m a FAN of the Jag SVR stuff 👏
I love your programs and I wait with anticipation for your next program. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Richmond, VA. Love Vancouver😎
Happy new year!
Thank you so much, wishing you only the best over the holiday season.
It's a gorgeous looking vehicle and a great design, but you're right they have to get the dependability and reliability in check. Another great video guys!! 👍👍😃
Why do you think they are unreliable? Do you own one or just propagating outdated views? 🤔
Good looking Jag and good looking couple 😉
Had to laugh when you were laughing about “wood.” Great review, looks like a fun suv
I have a 2024 F-Pace, the P400, the black package with 22inch rims. A great car and fast, but very smooth.
To me it’s a beautiful vehicle. I love the front seats! Great show guys! ☕️☕️
I have a 2017 and no issues so far.
I uave a 2022 XF V8 and I Absolutely LOVE my XF. No real problems. I am now looking to add a 2021 P400. F-Pace
it’s been reliable own 2023 F Pace P400
I own a fabulous F Type R for the last 4 years
No issues at all
People have been bringing up this bs on reliability from the 70 and 80
Stop putting these newer vehicles down
BMW and Mercedes have also terrible reliability issues in the past
Looks and sounds badass 😍😮💨💯.
Had my XE from new for 5 years not 1 problem , got an F pace on order
Mine has been so reliable and so economic to run. Love this car.
Love your leather jacket, Andrea!
Why is the range of full tank of gas important? Especially if you don’t give the litres of gas the tank holds? Just want to learn.
The vast majority of JLR reliability issues stemmed from electrical issues. I did have a problem with mine 2018 that the dealer found and repaired. Otheer than that, no issues at all in 169,000 Km.
My 22 svr is awesome...heated steering wheel and seats are quick to heat up
Just trading my 2018 20d (diesel) with 169,000 km for 2025 P400. My 2018 diesel has ben faultless and overall, the best car I have owned in 50 years of buying, selling, trading many different types and brands. No car, SUV or truck I have ever owned can dispose of long distances more adeptly than the Jag. An 11 hour day in this vehicle is easily done. Can't wait to get my new F Pace!
Someone remembered "Leg Day"😍🦵🦵
The red boots.. nice power move
Your teaser sums it up nicely: Jaguars are cars that everyone likes but no one wants to own.
A Jaguar 🐆 can feel the power through the screen 🎉
Looking forward to the follow up ......after the tango with the service department
Hmmm. I have a 22’ f-pace SVR. The heated seats and steering wheel heat up quick enough for me. Furthermore I’ve had zero issues with the car. Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I’d buy another JLR product in a heartbeat.
My previous car was a 18’ Velar. Also didn’t have any issues. I think the days of the unreliable JLR products is over. My 22’ Toyota Tundra was full of squeaks, rattles, fit/finish issues and extremely poor fuel economy. I dumped that truck after 8 months. My Toyota was junk compared to my Jag.
I had a 2016 fpace and a 2018 fpace R. Great cars but reliability was a huge issue. Lots of issues with the 2016, at the dealer every couple months. The 2018 was better but still had issues. I traded up for range rover. Much less issues.
The reason the heated steering wheel takes so long to get warm is it using two double A batteries …you just pry the center of the steering wheel away to change them ..brilliant
Nice looking car suv. Since the mustang mach e came out. This car looks like a ford mustang mach e ?
Andrea, love the red boots, however I've had the hardest time finding that shade of red for my wife. From where did you find those? 🤔
I think the glue has air conditioning built into the seats as well. Jaguar I think just has a fan that circulates the cabin air
Do you prefer the GLE over the Jag?
Where is RDX Acura ?or MDX? Is there something wrong with Acura ?
Great outfit for a Jaguar test drive Andrea 👍🙂
Test drive one of these...still going to the chiropractor!
Bought an Alfa quad.
You should try the SVR version if you think this version was impressive.
It is svr ?
This or the BMW X3 M4.0 or the Porsche Macan S? I really like the Macan S but if you want to keep it for a few years and the cost of ownership is a concern regarding maintenance and parts....BMW would be hard to beat. I personally would get the new 2024 BMW X1 M35ix which is now as big as the 2023 X3 and is lighter and more powerful. Plus it has a new avant-garde interior.
Whishes by Greece: merry Christmas happy new year with health and your dreams my wishes.great job Zack+Andrea
Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas!
When I saw the red boots, I thought the Jag was going to have an interior to match 🙂
My dream car growing up, XKE.
Andrea, red boots!
The leather jackets is a nice touch.... lol !
WHAT ABOUT THE MASERATI GRECALE GT . PLEASE, REVIEW IT AND TELL US MORE ABOUT IT. PLEASE.
It's not even just the reliability, it's the cost of repairs when things DO break! YIKES
Leather suits her well.
I managed a Jaguar dealership and I can’t say we had few problems with F-Pace. The XF and XJ not so much.
Huh?
Plus: 5 yr/60k number to bumper warranty, plus all of your maintenance is free, over that same 5 yr/60k period.
Reliable ❤
This is a great car to look at; is the I - Pace still available? Haven´t heard of it in a long time, tks!
@@StephenFogarty2023 thank you, but Is The I Pace I was asking for ☺️
Glad they did some updates, but, wouldn't touch one until reliability is proven.
I'll check it out tonight.
Drive the SVR version. It is not "overkill" for a performance-oriented driver.
TAG watch company advertised during my view of this video. Maybe they are following you Zach?!
In my dreams I dream that Toyota buys out either Jaguar or Alfa Romeo , imagine English /italian design but Toyota built quality….that would be such a great deal and fantastic marketing, I’d buy one… but for now I’ll keep my 2 Lexus 😎
Look at the steering go though a puddle steering rack packs up😮😮
If a buyer were on hospice it might make sense to buy one.
Speaking of quality
No issues with my fpace ,2 years old
I got xf extremely reliable
Not sure if this was asked before - but why almost all of your cars have Ontario plates on them? You're in BC right ?
The fleet is insured in Ontario.
@@andreaspencer9813 oh interesting. I was really wondering especially since I saw the KIA EV9 with ON plates in Arizona. Thanks!
Great car to look at while waiting for a tow truck to the shop
Jags are so beautiful but have a bad rep on reliability. I know many people in the comments are saying their cars have been reliable. However, you can get a couple years old low mileage Fpace for less than half the new price.
Nice boots
Attractive looking vehicle but…definitely a “lease only” suv because of reliability concerns.
Wow, it seems like reviewers never mention reliability issues for BMW, Mercedes, Audi, or Porsche. Jaguar is no worse than these brands.
