NOTE: In the first turn of the second round I drafted the Honeysuckle card and correctly described that it should remain face down as a keepsake, but then incorrectly placed it face up into my bouquet. At the end of the round, however, I could have used my Snapdragon card to change it from a keepsake card to a bouquet card, so it shouldn't affect the score at all.
Hey! FINALLY got the All in collection of Tussie Mussie yesterday! I played against A.I. (with your help from this video) and had a great time! I added orange flowers only so far. Final score: A.I. 29 Me. 27 Close but no cigar! Thank you for your video! I also got Tides finally. I’m not how you can beat A.I. because it scores every round and you can’t. 1st Game: A.I. 50. To my 40 2nd Game: A.I. 53 To my 45
Thanks for the comment! I still have to try out the new solo content from the expansion, but am very excited to do so. I played the orange, green, and ribbon expansions when they were playtesting though and enjoyed all of them a lot. As for Tides, it's been a little while since I've played, so I don't remember exactly what's good or bad, and definitely agree that it's tough, but you should always be doing everything you can to push the AI to take low scoring items, while setting yourself up for big scoring sets. Also, be sure to always have an extra scoring card, because if you end the game in a tie, it extends for one more round, and if you don't have a scoring card, the AI will automatically score, but you will score nothing, so it will be an instant loss!
@@PurpleMoosePlays I just got the game on Black Friday when I purchased a few of them on a. Big deal Button Shy had going. There weren’t many playthroughs but I knew yours would be good.
Excellent play through and review. I completely agree with your thoughts on multiplayer. I have not tried the solo version but I very much appreciate the instructions so that I can skip reading the rules for the solo mode. Very much looking forward to trying that out. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. If you enjoy this game I would definitely you check out my video on Bandada, as I imagine you might like it and there are still two days left on the Kickstarter campaign.
Just bought the PnP version of this yesterday along with the flower shoppe was much easier seeing and hearing you play than it was reading the rules so thanks for the video
@@PurpleMoosePlays yeah it was actually seeing that KS that made me buy the PnP so I could play while I wait for that to ship. I’m pledge for the new to tussie mussie pledge.
Enjoying your videos, now that I’ve discovered them. Food Chain was a bit of a slow teach, but I like the game and backed it. I added Circle the Wagon to my Sprawlopolis/Agropolis backing, because of your great teach. I just backed Death Valley, because of you again.I want to get All of Tussie Mussie now. So I have to see if it is all out yet or if I should wait until it is. I like the brown wallet color best. Having the same logo in green with a yellow flower might look nice. But yeah, thanks and I look forward to watching more of your videos now!
It makes me very happy to hear you are enjoying my videos and the game as well. Food Chain Island was one of my very first videos, so I completely understand. As for Tussie Mussie, you may want to wait a little bit, as there are several new expansions being worked on, and I've heard rumors of a new Tussie Mussie Kickstarter not far off.
Purple Moose Plays : I just wrote them to find out more! Thanks for the tip! This game will fit in nice with my herbaceous and butterfly garden games from Dr. Finn’s games!
Sorry, I got the score sheet from the Dropbox folder for the Button Board Game of the Month Club, so I can't share a link. If you're interested to sign up though, you can do it here: www.patreon.com/buttonshy
Purple Moose Plays : That’s ok ty! I can probably make a simple one from the graph feature on my pc. I got a response already! They said it will be offered towards the end of the year. They are not sure if it will be in store purchase or kickstarter. They are probably going to stay with yellow wallet. I also asked about why, in the solo deck, that most cards have a deal 1 face up and deal 1 face down and none are deal face 1 down and 1 face up or maybe even 1 card that you deal 2 face down. The responder did not really have an answer for that, but it could be a nice expansion for the solo version. Having 2 face down cards could really be a mind blowing pushing your luck choice! Thanks for chatting with me! You really made my day! :)
@@Cleansweep38 Likewise! It's nice to know there are real people out there watching these videos and it's always nice to engage with others who share the hobby!

Thank for another great playthrough Karl. I was able to get this to the table tonight quick even in a tired state.
Glad it was helpful! Also, very cool to see such old videos still getting plays!
