Excellent video! I just acquired one of these locks (no key, of course) and was considering taking it apart to get the bitting. I've never tried to impression a key but I think this will be my first attempt. Thanks for laying out the process!
@@Rick_OShae Thank You so very much! Not sure if you have or not but it might be a good idea try to pick it open first to make sure it’s not bound up. When I bought mine I bought it on eBay and had no idea the condition so I chose to pick it first to make sure it wasn’t seized then I impression it the first time and then the second time in the video and then the final time on the steel key touch ups.
This was amazing and some great tips!! Definitely not too long. I really appreciate the video! I think when I tried to impression, I was going back and forth with my file and finally gave up at the time. I will definitely give it another try. Thank you!! 😊

This is something ive been mentally prepping for as i wanna impression some keys also,i have copied a key by eye 👁 before but havnt tried impressioning yet ,looks like u a bosss at it 😮very cool 😎 great work and thank uuu so so much for sharing as this really helps me 🙏🙌💯
