That's why Sarah is the Angel of music ! Awesome !
This song was created after Ofra died. Her parts are leftovers from her 1997 self titled album that Frank Peterson produced (that’s where her writing credit comes in). Sarah loved Ofra and worked those leftovers into this song in her memory. :)
One of the things I like about Sarah is her way making it sound totally effortless. She just opens her mouth, and out comes the most clear and beautiful songs floating like little cumulus clouds on an intensely blue summer sky.
I have this cd... I got it from a thrift store... I listen to it all the time. I love her voice and tone... and thebwords havebsuch meaning too
I have not heard of her, or didn’t realize it, she is so good!!! So beautiful!!!!
Funny that you mentioned that when you put them strong together you can just tell how Ofra's voice is so much stronger. Both have similar high tones like you said but Ofra can just do so much with her voice without even trying. Great song.
I love both Sarah and Ofra a lot, but Ofra Haza is my favorite singer of all time, so I agree with you. ;) Ofra's voice was just so unique and very powerful. (Also, in response to the video itself: to my understanding, Ofra was not a soprano, but a mezzo-soprano. Felt like commenting on the video there because in general, I love the reaction to this beautiful song. :) But I don't think Ofra is classified as a soprano.)
@@MarysiaKosowski Yes she was a mezzo soprano but she showed often that she could go in soprano range. For example in her album Yamim Nishbarim or in the live performance of 'The Whole Soul' at the end she hits a D6, which is a very high soprano note.
This is a very underrated Sarah song, Harem is one of her best albums!
More reactions about Sarah please 🥺 new subscriber from Mexico ❤️
happy passover from Israel, as always love this Michal, thank you.
I love this song from 2003, amazing voices❤❤ a beautiful arabian danza. By the way, Ofra is a Jewish voice🎉
React more to Sarah Brightman, i know she is not liked easly from views on youtube, but she is gem even is few get to know her and love her you are successed.
Why no more Dimash reactions?
There is so much to discover.
I'm really fine with reactions to a variety of artists, but some regular or irregular reactions to the best singer of the world I feel is a must. At least until you have a dozen songs, which is roundabout what you need to understand his potential in artistry. It's not really about range and technic why he's able to surprise every single time.
For another point of view try one of his duets or try his interpretation of folk songs of his country like Samal Tau (Tokyo Jazz Festival) or Daididau.
The newer ones might get copyright issues, but everything older is fine.
