I was in the mentorship and Tom was also helpful in my recovery journey, Mirka gave me tough love when I needed it - wouldn’t be where I’m at without the help of these people!!💞
cardiophobia is what i developed after my first panic attack because it started with a racing heart while driving home from work. then the skipped beats got worse but i know now anxiety makes those symptoms worse. I am also practicing the way of just letting it be there as best as i can and i am making progress last year i had a heart episode where i was afraid to even leave the house and now i am back to taking cycling 15 to 20 minutes and growing my comfortzone. It's not easy but it's the only way out i my opinion. I even got the "i feel normal"again feeling the last couple of weeks. I think that is a sign that i am going to right way of leaving my anxiety alone and letting my nervous system heal.
It's 30 years that I am dealing with this after panic attacks during my delivery. Still couldn't get out of it every kind of heart beats you name it and I experienced it. Ohhhh God it's scary it has sucked life out of me. All the time anxious and lifeless.
I did accept anxiety and am living my life just the white coat syndrome at the doctors office when taking ur readings which is always high dough i noticed the shallow breathing due to been anxious which shorts the number and after which i later controlled my breathing in another clinic and my numbers came awesome dough my annual medical report everything came clean just the numbers due to been anxious with shallow breathing along side. Breathing properly not shallow is the culprits when taking a bp at the doctors office.
Hang in there guys. I was in that same position as you only about a month ago. I would fear even walking into my bedroom during the day. Once I changed my mindset that I cannot control sleep/symptoms and learned I have to lie there with my symptoms even if that meant getting no sleep that night. It’s all about reprogramming your mind not to fear the sleeplessness or the symptoms at night. Your body is in a hyperaroused state and it’s going to take some time for your anxiety/hyperarousal to come down. It’s all about being consistent with this process and you will see progress over time. It’s important to remember that getting little or no sleep is ok. It’s not dangerous. Even if it’s days on in. Your body will always find the sleep if/when it needs it, even if u don’t realize it. Accept it. Don’t fight it and let time work for you
I I wanted to ask you something my tinnitus started when I was stressed 2 months ago but now that I am not that much stressed why is it not going away?
Shaan please help me I'm facing anxiety sleeping problem but after taking medicine I was able to sleep but if my medicine is finish my problem comes back
Do yourself a favor and read Dr. Claire Weekes -Hope and Help for Your Nerves. That is the foundation of acceptance and desensitizing. Also watch all Shaans videos. He's very good
Yes, I did. Please, forgive me if you find it inappropriate, English is not my first language and this used to be an absolutely normal phrase used throughout the internet regarding YT replay buttons before it was decided that words are somehow harmful to people.
Hey there, this is Tom from the video. I’m really sorry it came across that way. I rewatched it, and I thought I was pretty careful about it. Nonetheless, I hope you got something from the video about acceptance and desensitization. Thanks for watching.
@@tomchilton7756 Tom, this video and the one you did a few days ago, also with Mirka, are EXCELLENT! (Mirka is wonderful, as well!) In my opinion you were far from preachy! You open your heart so freely and you let us know that yes, we might feel rotten after feeling so well for even months, but in fact, the setback is there to SPRING US FORWARD! It’s painful, it’s unnerving (pun intended 🥹) but it’s doable! Doing this video WHILE still somewhat sensitized, is an indication of your bravery, self discipline and GENEROUS spirit! You want to give back because so much has been given to you! I’m with you! All blessings to you and your beautiful family! 🙏🌟🙏
@@tomchilton7756I appreciate you speaking on this. I’ve been going down the rabbit hole for 6 months now. Just curious if you had short term memory issues and fogginess during your journey . I’ve came a long way with the blueprint and the videos as well. Your video helps people who have gone through the cycle !!! Keep pushing !
@@tomchilton7756 Tom, you did a fantastic job, not only in this film with Mirka but the previous one a few days ago! You are not preschy in my opinion, but absolutely transparent and so open to share your experience. You did this while slightly anxious! That sets a stellar example! We all need to: carry on and not let anxiety set any boundaries. You are courageous, disciplined and generous of spirit. You want to give back because you recognize that you have received so much through this exoerience! And the setbacks that we have are actually a SPRING FORWARD in our recovery. We can feel lousy after having felt so good, and that doesn’t mean we are going backwards! No, the setbacks and how we RESPOND, are key to RECOVERY! All blessings to you and your family! Thank you for this outstanding film as well as the one from a few days ago with Mirka! Thank you to Mirka, as well!

It's like watching myself in this interview.
same here man but it’s reassuring that i’m not alone

This honest conversation is so valuable. I am in the middle of some symptoms but just let it go
Tom and Jason are an inspiration to me. They’re further down the road than I am but I can relate to their journey. Both super articulate.

Acceptance is key 💯
Yooo Tom. Great interview! I see u spreading the word everywhere man! Take care dude.
Loved the analogy of blind spots while driving .
yeah the heart anxiety is the worse for me , by far and thats is from someone that had at least a dozen symptons, but none was so annoying

Is there any way I can speak to Tom or anyone who has had help with cardiophobia?
I'm even nervous to go to bed at night fearing panic attacks. Something about dark brings them on.
Same as me it's the worse feeling 😢 your definitely not alone.

My anxiety started after getting Covid and seeing all the weak people saying long Covid and cfs bullshit, it’s all anxiety symptoms same thing
Has anyone tried homeopathy medicine 'ACONITE' for panic attack and anxiety??
Haven't heard of it. Have you tried it?

Nope
This dude ironically ends up seeming overly preachy about his faith when he tries not to be.
