  • Today I explore the streets of Manila Philippines, I'm searching for a very delicious Filipino Dessert called Halo-halo. After walking the streets in Manila, I get invited for a coffee at a little street stall and the kind Filipinos then help me find where I can get some Halo-Halo. After that we continue exploring and walking the streets talking to locals and getting more stuff to eat.

Here's a tip if you want to go to Manila
1.) Dont be alone in the dark, there's gonna be unexpected surprises that you dont want to happen. Stick with people you trust like your friends.
2.) Stay away from gangsters, there's actually alot of them here.
3.) Make sure to try visiting our malls, its very big and very fun to visit.
4.) Try our amazing foods like sinigang, adobo, and other street foods
5.) Visit our business districts, those are the best places you can go in Manila.
      Have fun!

I'm quite delightedly surprised how gastronomically intuitive you are with Filipino food. In the first video of you that I watched, you ate a sizzling chicken dish in gravy together with rice in every bite, just how us Filipinos eat our dishes. And with a spoon at that!
In this video, you actually mixed Halo-Halo up (as one should). Something most foreigners don't do at first, IMHO. The popularly refreshing cold desert comes from the root word "halo" which mean to mix. Halo-halo therefore means mixed or literally translated, means mix-mix.
Great content. Authentic, relaxed, spontaneous, and adventurous. You have a refreshing way of connecting with your audience. New sub here.

Halohalo is a fiesta of flavors (fruit, beans, jello, ice cream) served in various ways: in a tall glass, in a bowl, or inside a coconut shell. Halohalo literally means mix-mix ‘coz you have to mix the ingredients before eating your Halohalo.

Mix mix is non existent in the English language. Mix mix is a broken English from locals who can't speak fluent English. The right translation is "to mix" and "variety"

You can also see the taal volcano which is 1 of the most active volcano here. Spend a night or 2. You wont regret it.

You ate the halo-halo properly. Try going back to Mang Inasal, try their bbq chicken with unlimited rice, ask for chicken oil and dip in the chicken in soy sauce with calamansi and chilli. Also try Palabok, but don't forget to squeeze calamansi on it and then mix it all up.

Tips: you have to ask a pinoy how to eat pinoy delicacies, cuz if u don't then, you'll be missing the
road to an acquired taste. There's an art of eating pinoy foods. What sauce goes with what food. Halo halo you gotta mix it good scrape from the bottom and bring it up the top to. Ur doing great by asking every time ur not sure. I like the way you immersed yourself. You're doing it right when u ask what the bestseller is.
