Efra, you're correct. YG concept has always been letting the seniors/experienced fellow artist takes care of the newcomers. GD and Bigband had mentured and wrote songs for many new artists, some features in their live performances as such, and some appeared in their MV, like black pink members before they debuted.
SuHyun will have a solo debut on 16 oct :-) BigBang and GD always guided and promoted YG artists . They even introduced 2ne1 You should have seen the love and support Ikon and Winner members got from VIP even before debut. I think you know how BlackPink girls sung with GD. AKMU siblings were signed by YG after they won a competition I think Yedam from Treasure was second place after them
