Going the wrong way is what sometimes happens when you go exploring. You can end up with happy accidents like that view of the abbey, but I get what you mean with limited mobility, time & distance are precious and you don't want to waste time with your disability. I'm the same with my disabilities, overdo it and you're in bed for a few days recovering. Didn't know about this lovely ruin (I should read my English Heresy handbook more often).
