This is a good install video, a quick note for everyone: What he has is the Halogen variant of the Alpharex headlights. What he's done is replaced the halogen bulb with an LED one. You can do this, but just be aware that this is technically illegal. Do with that what you will.
You might want to do like I did to my new Alpharex headlights to keep them protected from UV and road debree. I took it to a place and had them put clear UV protective film on them. Mine is a 2008 with the four jewels leds. Nice video
Aren’t you supposed to connect the red and black wire to the terminals on your battery to power the DRL in the daytime? What is the red wire connecting to inside the fuse box? Like is that bolt a ground?
The red fuse it’s connected to is to keep the lights running in the day the black wire is used as a ground from what I read in the installation guide later model rams go connected to the fuse box I’m sure that fuse has something to do so they are on during the day
@@kevinxg5.7 In fact what doesn't look bright, as yours is the DRL, it seems that it is dimmed. The LEDs I install are HIKARI from amazon. any Idea of what can be? Thanks.
Please don't wire your lights this way. Sticking the wire directly into the fuse panel defeats the purpose of a fused connection when done improperly. The positive connection is fine, that will be a positive connection direct from battery. The ground cable can go on either the negative terminal of your battery, or a secure ground point on the body. For the gray wire, I would highly recommend purchasing a fuse holder that will properly tap into the panel. They simply crimp onto the end of the wire. Would also recommend finding an unused ACC fuse slot if available. Oh, and heat shrink where applicable, those push connections kinda suck.
considering he said insane and dope several times I am wondering how he wasn't zapped working with those wires. I agree with you, just get the schematics and match the wires up, no way would I be so lazy with my truck
I just bought these same ones to replace my OEM projectors, and am waiting for them to come in. Which Aukee LEDs did you say you got? I thought you said H1s, but Amazon page said these take H7s. Also, supposedly mine come with the adaptor for the stock projectors...Hopefully. Great job!
There brighter and have a sort of purple outline to them I’m not sure if that’s just because of the lights I got for my headlights but there is a difference I’m my opinion
Im happy if I can help any ram owners out bro I might not know everything but always willing to help others out I got the lights on ebay I should have a link in description

“Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That” 😂 Real Talk Right There!
Hi like to know where u got the hardness a website please?
I installed this on my friends 2018 1500 ram but the turn signal doesn’t seem to work anyone have this problem and know how I can fix it ?
That's Badd Azz Kev fr !! Truck sounds good too 👍
Would I need the stock projector converter if I don't have projectors on my truck?
I installed these on my 2011 Ram 1500 which had the stock dual beam H13 bulb . When I turn on the high beams, the low beams shut off!!

Disconnect the battery first then plug in the lights. My truck didn’t wanna start after I took out the fuse
No flickering
How about the yellow wire beside the gray wire?
Hey what's up bro. Idk if anyone's asked but do you need warning canceling relay so it doesn't set off any warning on your canbus system?
When will u drop another tune video
As soon as I get more sponser money (aka from my wallet) 😂
@@kevinxg5.7 looking forward to the video
Where can I get this headlights and fog lights
Hey where did you buy your harness cuz I can’t seem to find them
Um the harness should have came with your lights if not you can find them on the ALPHAREX website i believe
Did you have to install your leds bulbs at a certain angle
Pay close attention to when you take out the stock lights and you will see how they line up other than that they go in straight forward brother
I need to take them out again then I put them all In a vertical angle it lights up but down to the road not really straight ahead
I just got the G2s in this model... my DRLS are super dim compared to yours... any ideas why?
Did you go with aftermarket lights ?
Hi Kevin I installed my headlights but doesn't seem to be that bright as yours. Any Idea of can be? also what's the yellow cable for? Thanks
What kind of led lights did you go with ? and the yellow cable I believe doesnt have to be connected to anything I already forgot the purpose of it
@@kevinxg5.7 In fact what doesn't look bright, as yours is the DRL, it seems that it is dimmed. The LEDs I install are HIKARI from amazon. any Idea of what can be? Thanks.
Did you connect the gray wire into the fuse box
Where do I get the harness?
Hey man. Great video. I got one question, what led bulb size did you use ? Was it H7 ?
How you get your truck to sound like that?
Long tube Headers with an electric cutout

What fog lights you got on there?
There stock I just put the same led lights as for the headlights
@@kevinxg5.7 high or low bulb?
Looks awesome Kevin!
Thanks boss 🙏
Is it the same bulb for both, high and low?
Yes
@@kevinxg5.7 so you a low bulb for the high and low side or a high bulb for both the high and low side?
What's up bro did the lights make any error/warning codes pop?
Thanks for the help and information man
Hi, I'm Elsa from Amoffroad. Do you accept sponsored products?
Did you get any warning light/errors after installing the LED bulbs? I’ve heard some ppl have had that issue.
Luckily I didn’t have that issue or had that happen
Nice. I’ll have to try this setup myself.
@@kevinxg5.7 I don’t have any issue either my guess is because I don’t have the 7” inch cluster it won’t show
Looks good i just put vland taillights on my 19 classic really good upgrade
Winston Mcbride did the vland taillights throw any error codes?
@@ajohnson209 no it just says my reverse lights are out but it has said that since i installed them but it was wired wrong from the company
they also try to short out but i fixed that with electrical tape no issues since i installed them
engine sounds nice not quiet like mine, i need to upgrade lol.
Looks pretty sick at night, the wiring seemed a bit ugly though
It was cleaned and dressed with zip ties I just didn’t show that part

If I said h1 my bad bro I meant to say h7 yeah they should come with the adapter and going with led lights makes them look so good in my opinion
Anyone of you want to sell the stock lights??
@@kevinxg5.7 so you put h7 lows for lows and h7 highs for highs?
The lights are 🔥
How are they at night? Is there is difference from the OEM lights? Also, can you do a short vid driving with these lights on?

Asking because I just bought these lights after watching your video (without the converters)
They look sick on that r/t bro do they have the flickering effect?
Thank you boss, In person no but if your taking a video on your phone they look wavy at times
Did you run the same led lights just or both low and high ?
I have the same lights for headlights and fog lights
Sorry for the inconvenience but where did you buy the harness for the DRL
Im happy if I can help any ram owners out bro I might not know everything but always willing to help others out I got the lights on ebay I should have a link in description
Nice, they are sick, how much are they? Are they from ebay?
@13:30 Definitely not how to use the phrase moment of truth.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those lights are dope
Thank you bro 🙏
You still got that 0/4 drop? How’s it riding so far
It rides fairly smooth given that it’s lowered in the back
Did you went back to stock height bro?
Nice lights btw 👍
No it’s still lowered in the back and stock in the from but I’ll let you know first in this comment we got something ordered from ihc on the way
Dude! These head lights are dope, how much are they?
They cost me around 500 or so
🔥🔥🔥
Send me your old lights I'll take em off your hands
those lights can be restored easily.
👍👍❗
😑
But it was funny huh?
Sure 🤷♂️
How did you get your fog lights to stay on with high beam?
What kinda light bulb u got for ur fog lights?
