Love this show. Albert is so handsome and Victoria is adorable too. They are so loving to each other. Sure they get angry but always show their love to one another. I have watched this show so many times and just really enjoy it!
I could be wrong but I get the sense that Victoria really didn't want Albert to be independent and self-reliant. She became so attached to him that it's almost as if she feared his independence and freedom would eventually drive him away from her. Victoria was a young queen who was still learning how to rule a country and aside from Lord Melbourne she didn't know who to trust and/or rely upon.
I think she'd never really had anything, so the first two things she felt were truly hers were the crown and Albert - and as a result she was incredibly jealous of anything that could take them away from her (which I think later came to include her children).

VICTORIA COULD BE SO MEAN TO ALBERT, OVER & OVER AGAIN. Seemed like she was afraid to give him any freedom. In today's world, a man would walk away from a relationship like that. She didn't want to share him w/ the world sheesh. She could be a handfull @ times. Prince Albert had the patience of Job.

Well,it could be seen as Victoria been overly controlling but actually she is simply possessive of Albert as she only had him and her other relatives were unloyal and after her life resulting her getting jealous of everyone who stole Albert from her even for hours,I am not saying that it was right of her not letting him spend time with others and getting angry but I understand.

There are many mistakes indeed. I cant remove subtitles. They are made on addic7ed.com, anybody can do it, they translate by google i suppose. Sometimes i've got the video with subtitles, sometimes not. I'm french, sorry if i make mistakes too when i write my comments. 😊😉😛😛😛😋
