I do believe that something wrong and irrepairable happened to Adam and Eve after they sinned. They realized they were naked, they started fingerpointing etc. Plus they brought out a curse on all humankind. Maybe that is how evil nature was released into the world. Yes, we can deal with it with G-d's help, but we cannot avoid it. That is what is meant by "original sin". I think we more argue on our own interpretations rather than on the objective issue.

You do a great job cultivating the garden. Ain't that what we all could be doin' ? Some weeds are medicinal and some roots must be cooked thoroughly before consumption .😊🎑🍀

Thank you Rabbi, for such a simple, clear and perfect explanation, do we focus on the flowers or on the weeds, one opens up potential while the other constrains!

This is a very interesting take on original sin but I'm confused with how Jews view salvation. It sounds like you don't need to be a Jew to go to heaven in which case why did the Israelites have to follow so many rules to do with repentance?

Cannot give an opinion. explanation was too short and not deep enough to endorse or criticize. Try make it longer and deeper. Would also help to give more references/parables from The Holy Bible. Thank you.
