- An unlucky D-Class Personnel is on cleaning duty in the containment cell of SCP-173, also known as, The Sculpture.
Item SCP173 is to be kept in a locked container at all times. When personnel must enter SCP-173's container, no fewer than 3 may enter at any time and the door is to be relocked behind them. At all times, two persons must maintain direct eye contact with SCP 173 until all personnel have vacated and relocked the container.

My thing with scp 173 is why would you not just have a whole team of people looking at it on camera or something. Like it would be unbelievably easy to have a team of cleaners, camera watchers, physical watchers, and even a team of people behind some type of glass. Additionally the eye pods are willing to help the foundation.
There's a video covering that and they say it would be unnecessary

Answer to surviving peanut: close one eye after another
However, there are some things you need to be careful about.
1. Usually, or at least when I do it, I accidentally close both eyes when swapping to the other side.
2. Closing one eye limits vision (slightly) and if you’re not at a certain position, you might lose sight of it.

You guys did an outstanding job with this one but my only gripe with this video is that the mtfs that were accompanying the d - class should be other d - class as well since it's foundation procedure to have 3 d- class in scp 173's room while it's being cleaned. But other than that, this is by far one of the best scp 173 videos on RUclips. Looking forward to your future works guys keep it up.

This would have been much better without the narration at the beginning. Sorry to nitpick, but it removed any tension that would have built up from the shot of the D-class walking through a dripping and dank hallway with armed guards. I suspect anyone watching this knows what SCP-173 is and doesn’t need the explanation. I appreciate whoever is making these SCP shorts, they’re very cool, the production quality looks good for low-budget and it’s filling in a gap and meeting a demand for SCP content that exists in a more dramatic and narrative thriller setting outside of a game. I could also do without the little moments of static between transitions, but I’ll take that over the corny narration. I would have replaced the narrator with a few sentences of exposition on a black screen before the scene begins. It would have built tension instead of breaking it.
The way to go to scp 173 is not the same, but nothing happens from it and you manage to make a really nice video, now I will subscribe to you :) Month by month I forgot to turn on the bell button. I have to open it immediately.

The only problem with the video is that the people in the room are meant to all be D-class. Security should not be put in danger unless an anomaly has breached or if there’s a cross test starting or ending and they anomalies are being escorted in/out. D-classes are the test subjects so they are the only people allowed in the same area as an scp since they are disposable death row inmates.

Is his movement based on eyes or vision? If you have a fake eye, just take it out and face it towards 173 and he's contained forever.
The official article concerning SCP-173 says that it cannot move while within a direct line of sight. This is vague, but it seems to suggest that it's based on vision, rather than just an eye. However, 173 does seem to possibly be sentient, so I'm not sure if it would be fooled by a fake eye. If it was, then 173 is incredibly stupid. However, if it is that would be extremely helpful. We know that scp-131 the "Eye Pods" are Thaumiel Class SCPs. Why the foundation doesn't just use scp-131 for every single use concerning SCP-173 doesn't make any sense to me at all.
