The next game was the ABYSMAL beat-em-up that was based on the 2012 series (the one before Danger of the Ooze). Red Fly also lost their shot at developing a Darth Maul game in the Star Wars series, and they're now relegated to the mobile platform mostly. Basically though, the reason why we didn't get an improved sequel to this game is Activision.
It was a downloadable title for PC, 360, and PS3 when Activision held th license. Unfortunately, they no longer do, so it's impossible to purchase any TMNT title that isn't Portal Power. I'm thinking that's why you've not heard of it, honestly.
