Mexico City: Azul Condesa - mole

My lady friends wanted to try mole, so we Googled “Mole near me” and found Azul Condesa, which got really good reviews and looked beautiful. It seemed like a good place to try, and it definitely was. The restaurant was beautiful, the service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. Let’s just say this is upscale mole, and not what you’d find in the market in Oaxaca, but it was a beautiful experience and I highly recommend it if you visit Mexico City.
I had mole from Tlaxcala with a delicious piece of steak. The ladies both had manchamantel - a sweet mole from Oaxaca, with chicken breast. We tried an unusual desert, which was not my favorite, but I was glad we tried it.
