I automatically love you. I had members of my family murdered and someone included it in a book, and they didn’t need our permission. I was literally devastated. Thank you so much for mentioning that as ppl NEVER think of the victims or their families in these crime books.
I just wanted to say I’m so so sorry that this happened to you and your family, it’s horrific and authors (and readers) need to do better. Sending love ❤️
I think I went into reading the tillie Cole book knowing it was going to suck but I went into reading happy place genuinely thinking I was going to like it and being so mad when it sucked. The hate for happy place has a special place in my heart
It's weird to me how the Ministry of Time ended up winning the Goodreads award when I've only heard bad things about it. You and Anna are 100% the reason I'm not going to read Bright Young Women. Also I didn't hate Heartless, but I agree with the fact that it's not right that they had sex during the kids birthday party. Why did none of the readers who obsess over this story not find that scene gross? There is a time and place and that was definitely not the time nor the place.
Lexi ofc I was watching booktube needs more bright young women hate - also this made me realise I haven’t shown you the video where Jessica knoll says she didn’t reach out to the families because it was ‘too hard’ and ‘would feel weird’ 😖
She did what?! Just when I thought I couldn’t hate this book more than I already do. Reaching out to the families is the bare minimum and she could have done that
@lexitriesreading I just randomly found it on my library app. It was the Elle Kennedy book with the least wait time. I might DNF it. I'm just not up for finishing it

It tickles me that the Emily Henry book was above the Tillie Cole 😅

The Dare by Elle Kennedy is my first Elle Kennedy book. I enjoyed the first 50 procent. Now I'm stuckkk. I'm sad because I was enjoying it
I’m sorry. It doesn’t get any better and I do think that books is extremely fat phobic
