Realistically, basically everyone can learn from you as a teacher for lifting. I get that there's always a bigger fish, but you're a pretty big one already haha. Don't feel bad about thinking of the videis as a coaching 1 on 1, I like the approach.
One thing I've been doing for extra hip hinge work is using my Rogue Rhino belt squat and pairing it with the spud inc chest harness to do goodmornings. It's much easier on my low back but blasts my glutes and hams. Great video, as always brother.
I'm excited for this direction, I've already been binging a lot of your content looking for more Sam training nuggets to test out, they haven't steered me wrong yet
First off love your content and am invested in your journey! I think there’s so much growth potential for this channel. However, I think if you dedicate yourself to fewer (weekly?) videos, you might find that both ideas and motivation will be plentiful. Focusing on production quality will do your channel wonders. The only difference between this video and a similar one from 4 years ago is your training/coaching experience and the camera quality - it’s still just a one or two- shot stream of consciousness.
What's going on my man I appreciate the feedback but here would be my thoughts: I have tried a less frequent upload schedule in the past and if anything my motivation to make videos gets lower because I forget I have the channel haha. The purpose of the channel to me has never been to have a big channel or to be a content creator just a portal to share my thoughts on programming/training to those interested so I have never really had any interest in the pageantry of increasing the production quality, as you mentioned the only improvements I've made is in the quality of info which is what matters most to me! I've made a number of videos deviating from the stream of one shot consciousness approach, using many shots and working through a pre written list of talking points and I just didn't feel as though they improve the core takeaways that might help someone get stronger
What do you think of Bromley’s new size program Kong? Considering running it soon after I finish the cut I’ve done, recently ran a power building program and it was fun but I’m really looking to train exclusively for hypertrophy for a while bulk. The size gains on the PB program were pretty great tho so I’m excited to train for hylertrophy for a good 12 weeks. Curious to know what you think of This program.?
I'd say for the majority of people yes (at least if they are being done handles down), because the weight is displaced in front of you there is a greater demand on the mid back/spinal erectors compared to a straight bar squat (and also usually builds up a bit more strength in a little more rounded thoracic position with how most people do them, and that mirrors the position most people pull from).
@@ShetharTraining Understood. Thanks for the quick response! I have another question regarding SSB. Is there anyway to find out the % difference between High Bar 1 RM vs. SSB 1 RM?
@@GoGoZebras Varies heavily from person to person! Its fairly common for more posterior dominant lifters to be able to do more on the ssb than high bar, and more quad dominant lifters to do less!
0.5 - Improve squat 2:45
1 - Direct ab training 4:25
2 - Vertical pulling 7:30
3 - Horizontal pulling 8:38
4 - Hamstring curls 12:50
5 - Hip hinging 14:45
Algo + hopefully this makes my deadlift better
Just do ya pause fronts

Ive never tried the goodmorning strap but I used to do rdls on a straight bar off the belt squat, really like how it changes the line of pull
I can tell people that Sam Shethar is my coach, AWESOME!!!
Thanks Coach!!
I know a lot of people are against slow eccentrics deadlifts but for me it’s been a game changer.
Damn you Bromley!! Great video as always.
Thank you my man!

Word! I’m glad that you’re staying true to the goal of your channel - make people bigger and stronger.

3:19 are you implying SSB squats have more carryover than barbell back squats for deadlifts? If so, why?
