there's this girl (calling her faith for privacy reasons) in my youth group who I thought was just another "starbucks girl" I thought she was like all the other pretty girls and had no pain, just a " glitter life". a few weeks ago our youth Pastor was talking about self harm and how bad it is ( "faith" was sitting with her friends and I was sitting behind them) and half way through the message I saw tears rolling down her beautiful cheeks . I thought " oh no! what am I going to do!! her friends didn't do anything. im not really sure if they saw her crying but I did and I had no idea what I could do to help her. she was still crying at the end of the message and I moved closer to her and when we went into prayer after the message I put my hand on her and prayed with and for her. she was so beautiful and I had no idea what was in her heart or who she actually was, I hugged her after the prayer and she said thank you. I thought there were such things as " starbucks girls and mean girls and all that" but there's really not. its just a cover up for someone who needs something so I hope and pray that whoever is reading this will call out to God and believe in Jesus today. just a few tears , one hand and just one hug can change your whole perspective .

rayisawesoem I think many people, but how many love God enough to continually do something about it and show Love to God and others as much as themself. I struggle with doing so however, God asks us to sacrifice, have faith, love, share the good news about Gods Kingdom. We have work as individuals and just as much as the church. As one of their other songs If We Are the Body, we need to work together just as parts of a body do so.
A friend and I were talking the weekend and she had gone through all the thoughts, emotions and fears I am the year before. Every argument I made she had already made with her parents as I had with mine. She had walked the same road as I am currently. Just having her listen to me and knowing she had made it out the other end, made me realize that I would, too. If she had sat back, said and done nothing, I would still be feeling alone. I thank God for her, because she listened and encouraged me.
This is basically me & my friend. She called me in the middle of night, and say "I have something to tell u, but I'm afraid u will see me differently after this, and please don't laught at me. I really need to talk about it to someone." So I just ask her to continue. Though we're really close but to open up our heart to the most deepest & darkest secret to our life, is something that is very awkward for both of us. So, the whole conversation both of us were like "this is so awkward!" And we both laughed at that. Fast forward a couple months, she called me again and said "hey, after I confessed to u, I can actually feel the gradual change in my life. Now I can see that the word of God is really alive." At that moment I'm so thankful of that awkward moment. It may be one awkward moment, but it became a turning point for her.
This made me cry. This is my call or purpose from God.. to share my pain and hurt.. to show my vunerablility so that the gospel may be shown with other people hurting and in pain. One awkward moment can literally save a life (physically AND spiritually)!
@@braygzz4429 we all were hell bound... you can know that you have the assurance of dwelling in Heaven forever... its a gift, u just have to take it. Do you need somebody to talk to? Im not just saying this.. but if u need somebody to listen then just say. Life can be really hard.. i know that from experience but through that it only proved to me further that God is more faithful than u could ever realize.

Ever since I was in second grade and lost a friend due to telling him about god, i never wanted to tell anyone, because I thought they would end up like my one kid that didn't want to be my friend after i told him about god, but now i'm in sixth grade, and this song inspired me to tell the people that need the gospel the most, even if it does end another friendship.
I use to be scared and even embarrassed too, but trust me, as you continue to go through your years and increase your faith and grow your relationship with God, he will give you unexplainable courage and strength to not even care anymore. Remember, some people he purposely takes out of our lives. He has his reasons, we may not understand in the moment, but if you continue to trust and stay open to him, he will speak to you, you will see why. And he will bring to you people who are worth it. Keep it up.

She told me that she doesnt want to believe that Jesus was the only way to heaven and to the Father (she's a hindu) And right now she is going through a lot because her father died last year and told me that she has no more faith that a God exists because of the things happening to her..... I tried my best to show the love of Christ Idk i was very heartbroken after that... In my point of view, this song talks about us,that we shouldn't be afraid preaching and spreading the words of God because that one awkward moment that one word you told them can save their lives ."Let your FAITH be BIGGER thank your fears." you shouldn't be ashamed sharing the words of God to those who need it.
God really works wonders huh. This morning my soul was grieved cause I had sinned alot of times yesterday and I had been going well so far. I was in despair and it hurt me ,I felt like God was angry and he would leave me but the better part of me knew that was the devil. I still was grieved and I left my phone in the kitchen playing songs. I bent down to pray and confessed I was weak and the lord may show mercy and let me lean on his strength. I got up and this song started playing. I have never heard it but I knew the lord was speaking to me. I felt everything in this song and knew god did this for me. It brought me to tears knowing he cares so much. God is Good .

I needed this today. My best friend grew up in church, but has had a lot of trauma and she really doesn't show the signs of being saved, but only her and God knows if she really is, but yesterday she finally told me why she has been so depressed. She is battling herself with things that she knows isn't right, but when I try to tell her about things that might help, but she didn't want to do it. I'm very worried for her. I honestly don't think she is saved, but all I can do at this current moment is pray for her, encourage her to do what the Bible says and wait on God.
This is me right now. God, only you could have orchestrated this song for me. I had an awkward moment a month ago and I can't seem to get it out of my head. Could that be the key to him opening up my eyes and the person I talked to?
Be careful with such things. From my personal experience God or Satan can speak through things. To mare SURE it's from God ask Jesus for His guidance, for His acceptance. That's how I understood which is the right way for me. Ended wrong relationships, quit the wrong class. God is still working on me. Back then I was trusting my emotions. Wow! I've been listening to this song for a couple of days and NOW I finally understand the meaning! A guy at a pizza place had a conversation about Jesus with me I'm a christian but he had no idea how much that meant to me. One awkward moment for him meant so much to me!
I went to a Casting Crowns concert during the summer in Massachusetts after making a decision to turn away from a relationship in order to follow Christ in obedience. My boyfriend and I had lived together for eight years and he was making no step forward to honor me in a legitimate relationship so we broke up. A month after he moved out, I bought tickets to the Lowell arena, close to the stage, as a sort of celebratory move on my newfound spiritual journey. I had come to faith a few years back but couldnt say I had truly repented because of my living situation. You cant really say you're sorry for a particular sin and keep doing it over and over because Jesus says, "go..and sin no more." By the time the concert date had arrived though, my "ex" boyfriend had bamboozled me into seeing him again with the promise of new intentions, but it only took a couple weeks to see it was turning into the same story. I felt horrible about how little value I was placing on myself. By the time I was seated a couple of rows away from some of my favorite Christian songs, I found myself regretting buying tickets so close because it felt so strange to stand alone..I honestly felt like the stage light was directly on me in the audience and I hated that the excitement I had had for months at the anticipation of being at this concert, transformed, was turned into an awkward moment..like I was wearing the hypocrisy I felt and everyone could see the weight of it sitting on my shoulders..making it nearly impossible to worship. Everyone's hands were raised but mine...I felt foolish...how could I worship when I was deliberately ignoring the guidelines put in place to direct me on a straight path? ..it felt..awkward? So, I stood.. with my arms down...as everyone sang freely around me.. This song truly speaks to me about that moment. Not long after, I decided to end that relationship once and for all.. so that He could truly transform me into who I was supposed to be in Him. Great song 💜

@@LuvPinkTwizzler I also lost my mother at nine and she was the only one in my circle, as a child, who kept Christ in the family..once she died, there was no more church, and I lost everything I connected to her passing on. As I matured into teendom, I started interpreting my cards with blame and hate and it wasnt until much later, in that relationship, that I started looking for something more real to fill the void i felt.. We all look for that one thing we think will fill that empty place.. for some people its drugs, others its alcohol..people like me look for the stability and safety of another..but now I know there is only One that is meant to be in that place. Soon after, i realized the trick the enemy had placed on my heart..that my mothers cancer wasn't from God..that cancer is a parasite, a shadow..it cant exist without the good health of a person..I didnt start to understand that until a few years ago..and the live in relationship that led me through the church doors again, God used for good..it led me back to Him. I couldnt let that go again. There are so many facets of this song that speak to me. From hearing all of the old cliches to dropping my pride and having that "one awkward moment" of humbleness in front of strangers and giving Him the reigns of my heart..I'd be lying if I didnt admit to believing that God gave the words of this song to Casting Crowns just in time for so many people.
This is such a good reminder that sharing the God's love with the world isn't easy, it may be awkward but it is so worth it. It's time to speak truth to the world.

This time in life is a world full of hurting people and God can seem very far away. BUT I believe...I stil believe. Through cancer and deaths and chronic illness and not being able to have children and a rough marriage and having to move 7 times in 22 years. It's been a lifetime of hurting BUT GOD I still believe. This song is one of many that Casting Crowns has ministered to me. Thank you

Yesterday itself i shared Jesus with my friend. But unfortunately it didn't turn out to be good, because she told me to stop in the middle of telling about Jesus.
She told me that she doesnt want to believe that Jesus was the only way to heaven and to the Father (she's a hindu)
And right now she is going through a lot because her father died last year and told me that she has no more faith that a God exists because of the things happening to her.....
I tried my best to show the love of Christ

God really works wonders huh. This morning my soul was grieved cause I had sinned alot of times yesterday and I had been going well so far. I was in despair and it hurt me ,I felt like God was angry and he would leave me but the better part of me knew that was the devil. I still was grieved and I left my phone in the kitchen playing songs. I bent down to pray and confessed I was weak and the lord may show mercy and let me lean on his strength. I got up and this song started playing. I have never heard it but I knew the lord was speaking to me. I felt everything in this song and knew god did this for me. It brought me to tears knowing he cares so much. God is Good .

I needed this today. My best friend grew up in church, but has had a lot of trauma and she really doesn't show the signs of being saved, but only her and God knows if she really is, but yesterday she finally told me why she has been so depressed. She is battling herself with things that she knows isn't right, but when I try to tell her about things that might help, but she didn't want to do it. I'm very worried for her. I honestly don't think she is saved, but all I can do at this current moment is pray for her, encourage her to do what the Bible says and wait on God.
This is me right now. God, only you could have orchestrated this song for me. I had an awkward moment a month ago and I can't seem to get it out of my head. Could that be the key to him opening up my eyes and the person I talked to?
Be careful with such things. From my personal experience God or Satan can speak through things. To mare SURE it's from God ask Jesus for His guidance, for His acceptance. That's how I understood which is the right way for me. Ended wrong relationships, quit the wrong class. God is still working on me. Back then I was trusting my emotions. I went to a Casting Crowns concert during the summer in Massachusetts after making a decision to turn away from a relationship in order to follow Christ in obedience. My boyfriend and I had lived together for eight years and he was making no step forward to honor me in a legitimate relationship so we broke up. A month after he moved out, I bought tickets to the Lowell arena, close to the stage, as a sort of celebratory move on my newfound spiritual journey. I had come to faith a few years back but couldnt say I had truly repented because of my living situation. You cant really say you're sorry for a particular sin and keep doing it over and over because Jesus says, "go..and sin no more." By the time the concert date had arrived though, my "ex" boyfriend had bamboozled me into seeing him again with the promise of new intentions, but it only took a couple weeks to see it was turning into the same story. I felt horrible about how little value I was placing on myself. By the time I was seated a couple of rows away from some of my favorite Christian songs, I found myself regretting buying tickets so close because it felt so strange to stand alone..I honestly felt like the stage light was directly on me in the audience and I hated that the excitement I had had for months at the anticipation of being at this concert, transformed, was turned into an awkward moment..like I was wearing the hypocrisy I felt and everyone could see the weight of it sitting on my shoulders..making it nearly impossible to worship. Everyone's hands were raised but mine...I felt foolish...how could I worship when I was deliberately ignoring the guidelines put in place to direct me on a straight path? ..it felt..awkward? So, I stood.. with my arms down...as everyone sang freely around me.. This song truly speaks to me about that moment. Not long after, I decided to end that relationship once and for all.. so that He could truly transform me into who I was supposed to be in Him. Great song 💜

@@LuvPinkTwizzler I also lost my mother at nine and she was the only one in my circle, as a child, who kept Christ in the family..once she died, there was no more church, and I lost everything I connected to her passing on. As I matured into teendom, I started interpreting my cards with blame and hate and it wasnt until much later, in that relationship, that I started looking for something more real to fill the void i felt.. We all look for that one thing we think will fill that empty place.. for some people its drugs, others its alcohol..people like me look for the stability and safety of another..but now I know there is only One that is meant to be in that place. Soon after, i realized the trick the enemy had placed on my heart..that my mothers cancer wasn't from God..that cancer is a parasite, a shadow..it cant exist without the good health of a person..I didnt start to understand that until a few years ago..and the live in relationship that led me through the church doors again, God used for good..it led me back to Him. I couldnt let that go again. There are so many facets of this song that speak to me. From hearing all of the old cliches to dropping my pride and having that "one awkward moment" of humbleness in front of strangers and giving Him the reigns of my heart..I'd be lying if I didnt admit to believing that God gave the words of this song to Casting Crowns just in time for so many people.

This is such a good reminder that sharing the God's love with the world isn't easy, it may be awkward but it is so worth it. It's time to speak truth to the world.
