I am really enjoying branch together. I have to work really early in the morning but still want to start my day consuming God's word, not just man's interpretation, but the word of the lord. So branch together does a wonderful job of thus. I feel like the presenters have a desire to present the word as it is without a lot of their own thoughts on it. The version read is easy to comprehend and it's not read in a dramatic voice but just like I would read. I don't feel like branch together is trying to intertsin or really preach. It feels like they believe the word of God standing alone is enough. I like the small bit of reflection and question/call to action at the end. But it's mostly allanout the word. Thank you!

It’s almost like it was saying God is asking us to forget about ourselves because he has us. I wonder whether the inadequacies that we feel to do this is because we don’t really think God has us. It’s quite amazing how I’ve seen outcomes in 2022 with clients getting jobs and people getting your drivers licenses and intimate involvement of God in my life, in what is the new normal for me. As we truly want to see God and for me there’s no reason to not give 100% to him I wonder where that will takes us. Thanks for your sharing as you have bought this book alive for me. Also watching the movie which is helping.

I listen to your videos every Saturday morning while I run and then read through the chapter with them on Sunday with my other study guide. Did the same thing last semester with the book of Matthew .

Nice reading praise God. One thing that stood out for me is the day of worship for the early church/ Christians, it was the Sabbath day. It is interesting to read that christian Jews and christian gentiles continued to worship on the Sabbath after Jesus' resurrection and ascension but at this present date many christians don't follow the same practice recorded in the bible. I have read the new testament several times and I noticed the ceremonial sabbath days, are not required for us christians to keep since they shadowed Christ Colossians 2:16-17. However the holy seventh day Sabbath from the creation week is different, the early church as we just read continued to observe the Sabbath just as Jesus did when He was on earth. It really brings up a few questions when, where, why and who changed or claimed to change the day of worship for us christians today?
