When I visited in 2009 I went to all of those, the observatory was excellent. They had the large telescope positioned on Saturn for everyone to view. The Getty was also good.

Try this in Washington DC. You can have a great budget trip there. Most of their museums are free and it would make great content tbh

LA is a totally different vibe than NYC. You need transportation for one - like a car - and while it's a must to hit the Hollywood area for tourists, there's a lot to see that's not as easy to walk/use public transport to get to. NYC is made for walking and so everything to see is either in close distance or easy to get to. But 24 hours in LA you're gonna need a car and a plan!

Looking at his old content he was so resourceful, smart and tactful but these days it’s just a complete horror show. 800 odd thousand subs yet pulling in tiny numbers and comments. Clearly a few in the comments that have never left their bedrooms because they seem to enjoy a man walking on a street, sleeping in a budget hostel interesting content. He needs to totally rethink his channel and life

7. Olvera street basically a plaza which resembles a tiny version of Mexico very cool has alot of culture
That's really all i got off the top of my head but ALSO you are going to very expensive stores, everyone is LA knows how pricey things are so we go to 99cent stores, food for less, ALDIS, dollar tree and dollar general if you go to the places like that you will definitely get a lot of cheap food

Tbh anyone complaining about him not finding anything to do, if you're from London let alone England, theres so much you can do in one day. So no wonder you'd be dissapointed. In London alone you can do like 5 enormous, very presitigous museums in just one day. There's happy hours every day in places like camden and bethnal green, like 2 cocktails for 12 quid everywhere. LA seems awesome if you have money but shit if not.
LA is just too big! Plus everyone is driving. New York is much better to explore in a short time ❤ but hey you tried ❤
While the sun was still out, you should've went to Santa Monica / Pier instead of swimming at the hotel pool 😅.
I spent a weekend in LA and it was fun , I had friends there, so maybe that was what made the difference.
Hollywood was really disappointing when we went but the bus tour was good and would have shown you some other things to do.
There is a lot more to do there, you need more than 24 hours in LA. More like 7 days minimum as I've been to LA myself.... Although i didn't venture to downtown LA. Should have went to the beach, the observatory, went to the hollywood sign and took in the views from up there. There is a lot more to do, like the guy said you need to look a little more. Also it depends on what you want out of LA, the more you put in, the more you get out. I do have to say its better with people you know also.
24 hours is not a lot of time to explore LA, you need at least a week. 13.02pm

To say LA isn’t good isn’t really a fair statement to make when you are doing a $100 for 24 hour challenge. Had you just explored the city without the strict budget you could have done the bus tour or done a studio tour or Disney or Universal or clubbing.

Yeah, LA is too spread out to enjoy in 24 hours. If you don't have a car, you're kind of confined to where you are unless you uber. There's plenty to do but, it adds up quickly so, your 24-hour challenge isn't ideal there. Glad you got see it, but you need to do the 5-day challenge there. Peace

Just a little advice for anyone visiting LA basically the only areas not really worth visiting are downtown and Hollywood and if you want cheap food find any of the taco street vendors that are just on the sidewalk they're often decently cheaper than taco trucks
You can't do LA in 24 hours. Gotta be at least 3-5 days to even get a taste.
When we went to New York once, we filled out one of those salad box things and it came to like $30 🤣

Not much in Downtown due to homelessness and the crime/fentanyl/ice everywhere. Was disappointed in hollywood and DTLA when visiting from Australia. Santa Monica and West Hollywood were more pumping ..you definitely need money to do anything if not near the beach

I’m from LA. Nobody hangs out in downtown or Hollywood. You should of went to Melrose Ave and Fairfax Ave down to the Farmers Market and the Grove. You need a car in LA to know where to go.

Would have had a great time with basic research. L.A. is the ONE place you can get away with sleeping outside....the weather is great, and plenty of company. LOL. Also, lots of stuff to do for free, show us the city you are going to, show you actually enjoying the city and especially the people; Americans are warm people and love to talk. I'm sorry but I kinda got the impression you look down on USA from this series, and my whole view changed.....no its not walkable, historic Europe, but you are young guy, plenty to do besides spend all day looking for food and/or hiding in the hotel; even on their limited Metro. San Fran woulda been a better fit though; culture is like London, its walkable, with more "CITY" and transit; dont listen to anyone that says its unsafe; thats political bs.
Toba....downtown LA is awful these days..defo Santa Monica or even better Venice Beach....there are some really cool suburbs as well...San Gabriel...Pasedena........literally no one goes downtown anymore. It's just very dodgy and a total tourist trap.
